- Garga Chatterjee, a Harvard PhD and currently working as a faculty at Indian Statistical Institute, is known more for his fervent support for Bengali Nationalism and rigorous opposition to "Hindi Imperialism". He, as the founding member and general secretary of Bangla Pokkho, constantly fights for rights of Bengalis within the Indian Union. Nevertheless, Bangla Pokkho often receives criticism for its oversimplified narratives, tribalism, and inciting anti-Bengali sentiments.
In this podcast, Garga opens up about his journey from Medical College to Harvard and back to Kolkata, nuances of federalism, the economic, cultural and political hegemony of Imperial forces in detail. In contrast to his appearances at mainstream media, this discussion contains elaborated ideological discussion regarding nationalism, federalism and imperialism.

For every 1 rupee that West Bengal govt gives to Central Govt as tax, West Bengal govt gets 0.8 paise from Centre.
For every 1 rupee that Bihar gives as tax to centre, Bihar gets 7.06 rupees from centre.

Am very eager to know your reasoning and views regarding the fact that Bengali youths brought up in rest of India apart from West Bengal, ie, the probashi Bengali youths are more proficient and possess more confidence from within as a result of which these probashi groomed Bengali youths are more successful in life than those of the Bengali youths of Bengal as well as highly respected and loved in cultured and developed regions in India, such as, Gujrat, Maharashtra, the southern states, etc. Hence don't waste your time and energy on how the people of the regions of rustic and decaying culture perceive the Bengalis. Opinions will vary from time to time depending on the situation. Swami ji and Netaji had different objectives. At that time Hindi imperialism was not prevalent. Netaji's enemy was British Imperialism. Today there is no British imperialism. Do the northies care about the entire nation? Never. They care for their own. Why should we care for others instead of our own?
