TIM been on the road a long time and that loud jake brake use when there is no need is why we see so many signs saying no jake use why keep useing it when there is no need some day u will learn
Run your business and family life the way you see fit. Braxton is going to be better for the way you are teaching him. He won’t be scared to drive because he knows what to expect. The parking lot driving never hurt anyone.
That is how I learned to drive hell we had cornfields to drive on. The only thing I could see them raising a stink on is that it is within city limits and if he does it on someone else lot. Other then that tell the whiners to kick rocks.
That is a great choice to paint the truck with Imron paint. I have a friend that owned a paint shop and that is all he painted with. We were volunteer fireman, and he painted all of our trucks with Imron, never had to wax the truck.
Well, why don't you send take the frame over there and have them put it on the frame. That way it's not getting damaging all you do just haul the frame
Glad you are getting help Tim with the family and the business and your projects you needed it personally I think you and your men have done a good job on the trucks body work and things thankfully that stress is off your shoulders
@garrettsparkman1876 I've done heavy recovery for the last 13 years, and I've never seen anyone use a rachet strap to secure a vehicle to a wrecker underlift.
@marknewell7355 I'm not here to argue what's right and wrong.. however me personally, I've been on hooks couple times, and I've seen straps used personally, if it's right or wrong idk I'll leave it for the PROFESSIONALS to debate
@garrettsparkman1876 I wasn't arguing a point, I was stating a fact as a professional that guy put your rig at risk and potentially someone's life he's just lucky it didn't rub through and bounce off the hook that's all. Keep safe
Tim, we had the same issue with our old KW with the proportioning valve. We put female tru-flate fittings on the air and electrical box and we disconnect the trailer air lines and ran with the trailer valve released while bobtail. Seemed to make the brakes feel more “normal” when bobtailing.
Just having shop space to separate jobs, is a big plus. You can’t mix paint & body with mechanical. You have to separate repairs from paint. The stuff that gets in paint, can come from your clothes, let alone the shop. Great paint jobs are done in clean environments. For what Imron cost don’t waste time in a dirty shop
Tim, if you end up buying the rotator like you talked about and your serious about the towing business; you should (in my opinion of course) invest in a Zacklift for one of your trucks as well. You could have a second heavy wrecker that is also capable of pulling trailers and making money when you’re not towing. All my opinion though. Take care Tim and the rest of the Gentry clan!
You only need to chain up on one side of the axle where the torsion bar connects to the frame and it will automatically lift the other side and keep it in place.
Look I'm NOT Hateing or trying to sound Mean or Rude just saying and I was hoping l wouldn't have to say this. I just knew it that the Tow Truck wouldn't get finished once He started to use it. Ohh well it is what it is maybe Tim is waiting and He's going to buy the Rotator Tow Truck He was talking about sure hope so.
"EVERY EXPERT, WAS ONCE A BEGINNER."- HELEN HAYES!!! The important thing is, you actually tried it, and now know what to do differently!!!! Don't ever learn anything if ya don't do it. You Tim should know that already, sir!! Keep up the great work, buddy!!! GOD Bless yall!!
This is my favorite content to see from this channel I love when you guys go haul trucks and pick up your forgotten equipment! Now you need to go pick up Johnny cash cabover's trailer!
An idea your tow lights have a long cord option modify the light bar to be able to use a battery for power tools slide on and off as required and now you have eliminated the long cord from towtruck to light bar .
Doesn’t that long “cord” also contain the wires that operate the turn signals, tail lights, brake lights, and emergency flashers? If the light bar is not a wireless remote control unit, how is it going to work being disconnected from the tow truck? Did I miss something?
Tim I'm so excited to see the finished job. Enron I've have had experience painting cars with Enron. It's some awesome paint amazing colors. I wish you all good luck .
Hopefully they remove all of the removable pieces from the exterior of the cab and sleeper before painting. Show trucks are not painted with the windshield glass installed.
You're loving that tow truck. Have you run out your cable and greased them up yet. Someone has a 2016 Coronado for sale in Sweetwater I told them to contact you to see if you're interested.. The pictures looked good. See you at MATS 24 if I can make it up there.
It always amazes me how you guys just move thru the leaf area with no caution. There are 4 venomous snakes in Tennessee, & they are out there. A few seconds of caution checking; will avoid a bite in the face when crawling under a truck sitting in a field for years.
They would be really slow now if they were even out. After watching more, yea they are in places where copper heads would be at. Under vehicles, moving pieces of metal and wood on the ground.
Great content Tim! I love the channel! It would definitely be cool though if you got a setup like Steve FSC as far as Camera/GoPros go, can get a little dizzying the way you currently film, but that’s just me. I’m definitely not complaining at all just a suggestion, I know it can be expensive but I think It’d be well worth it! Either way keep up the great content and stay safe out there brother! 🤙🏼
Grandpa always said you can please some people some of the time, but you can not please everyone all the time. Your doing a awesome job. Ignore the BS. You know the routine a little controversy creates comments which promotes the video. Your good people and the real ones out here know it. Braxton has come a long way getting used to the camera. Keep on showing those awesome trucks man.

Dang Timmy, why do you rev that engine so high on that wrecker unless the tack is off?

Nope that's how I learned and aced my written and driving test bc of it
That is how I learned to drive hell we had cornfields to drive on. The only thing I could see them raising a stink on is that it is within city limits and if he does it on someone else lot. Other then that tell the whiners to kick rocks.
If someone hits that truck as its crossing the road with brax driving gentry would lose everything he owns !

Where’s the old red classic that your uncle Ronnie painted and you had all the chrome for it got it running and all?
Still in the weeds.
So these guys are painting the body the cab the sleeper did you guys already paint the frame hopefully the colors match
That is a great choice to paint the truck with Imron paint. I have a friend that owned a paint shop and that is all he painted with. We were volunteer fireman, and he painted all of our trucks with Imron, never had to wax the truck.
It's just really thick paint, it's considered industrial paint, not automotive paint
Brax just amazes me how he can handle those big trucks you've done well with teaching him 👏🏾 stay focused and blessed 🙌🏾
The wrecker needs new tires that inside tire on the back you could see the air in it!!!
Well, why don't you send take the frame over there and have them put it on the frame. That way it's not getting damaging all you do just haul the frame

Chains only on the underlift straps fray and brake timmy
Noticed that myself

What 4 snake's I can think of 3 ❓
Not to mention Black Widow's, although it's little cold for them.
Snakes are long gone time you make the kind of noise and vibration

Those dump buckets were probably going to crab Orchard to get some lime
Tim you and the guys should put the chains in the side boxes instead of pulling them from up top and scratchin shit up.😂
I bet that truck will really look good when you get it painted like you want it
Love the Vid. was just thinking you could make urself a hook to grab the chains so you don't have to lay down to try and grab them.
