Sprion would actually be a hydrogen atom, and not helium, because the element is based on how many protons it has. More specifically, a hydrogen isotope with 2 neutrons is called tritium.

Genuinely a cool idea with the “Gen 13” gag. A small region full of supernerds dedicated to discovering every Pokémon ever found a way to upscale Micro Pokémon and downsize the far rarer Titan Pokémon so they can properly be studied and battled with. Not only can we get Pokémon like the ones from this video, we can get Pokémon based off of Norse giants, the “World Turtle”, asteroids, and more.

Love the idea of microscopic pokemon, its something I’ve thought about for years but never known now to execute.
    Some quick notes though,
For one: I would’ve done the pokemon’s height in Micrometers (μm) instead of just making all of them zero millimeters, that way you could better demonstrate the size diffeences of microscopic pokemon without using numbers with like 80 decimal places.
Secondly: I love Bactearia and its interaction with Pokerus, but I think Bacteria pokemon should be more diverse instead of just having one species. There are lots of really cool bacteria out there that could make for great pokemon.
Lastly: I would’ve made Pokerus ghost type, referencing how it possesses Bactearia

8:00 fun fact: Most of the symptoms you get when sick are actually caused by your body's immune system fighting off the pathogen, rather than by the pathogen itself, meaning that fighting off Pokérus like that would actually cause detrimental effects to the Pokémon.

Concerning Sprion: I like thinking of the three pale orbs (the face and two legs) as the three protons in a Lithium nucleus, and the two blue orbs as electrons; this would make sense because Lithium easily loses its top valence electron. It would also make more sense with respect to Sprion being electrically active, would give it a clearer connection to batteries, etc. plus it’s more common in nature than a one-proton, two-electron ion (to my understanding) I think

I had a cool idea for a tardigrade pokemon a while back - a mythical bear pokemon with 6 limbs and a protective suit-like fur pattern (not a space suit, more like a hazmat suit since tardigrades can survive a lot of different things) but of course, its not literally a suit nor a gas mask or anything. The other thing about it is that it has psychic powers that allows it to create protective bubbles and allows it to float. Heres the dex entry: "Tardybear - The lazy pokemon. Tardybear curls in on itself and creates a firm bubble that protects it from other pokemon, clinging to its body, before sinking into muddy water where it settles, waiting for Magikarp to catch as food, however they can often fall asleep while waiting, sleeping for up to 3 to 4 years." The ability would be something like 'Protective' which would turn all moves that would hit for 2 times supereffectivness only hit for 1.5 times supereffectivness. And it would be Psychic Water type.

If you make another video about micromon, give the atom boi an evolution, or alternate form that combines into a molecule and then something more complex like a protein.
A mitochondrial micromon would be a cool electric and/or fighting type as it’s referred to as the “powerhouse” of the cell.
You could also make a computer chip pokemon, as those are getting smaller and smaller these days that would be a cool electric type.

I can imagine there being so many different types of atom mons that look like the composition and color of different elements but that would be like an unown type thing. You could even make a mon that is a prevo and randomly looks like a proton, electron, or neutron which evolves to create the random element atom mon. That would be so cool but would take a lot of work. It’s just a cool idea

These mons are awesome. I love Dursable and Sprion, very cute.
My only criticism is that while these mons are based on microscopic life and atoms, they would certainly be larger; at least visible to the naked eye. I could see all these guys being around the size, if not a bit smaller than Joltik.
I know it is nitpicking; great video anyway Ron, as always. These are some fantastic designs.

The enlargement of micro-mons is a great idea. I can see Pokémon eventually doing this. Kinda like an Ultrabeast type deal. Or maybe it can be a micro region. Maybe some legendary shrank a region with the people and Pokémon in it a long time ago. And the main character gets shrunken by the legendary and has to find a way to get bigger throughout the story somehow. Maybe nobody in the region knows that it was shrank since much time has passed. (And now I’m seeing the Horton Hears a Who similarities😅)

I hate how much credit is given to tardigrades. Sure they’re resilient… AGAINST THINGS THEY WILL NEVER HAVE TO ENCOUNTER. They are vulnerable to literally any and every possible threat they will come across. Snails? Dead. My foot? Dead. People need to stop acting like tardigrades are the best things ever

Thos gave me an idea of a feature that could be named microform that transforms the pokemon into a microscopic version of him, changing his appearance, and when you use this feature in battle the microscopic pokemon multiplies itself many times, multiplying the original pokemon’s life 4 times but lowering the power of its moves by 60

As a kid, I also tried making microscopic Pokémon, though mine were nowhere near as thought out. Just an ameba that evolves into a paramecium and a legendary trio based on a proton, neutron, and electron.

Sprion being made up of the three primary colors is a smart way to allude to the fact that atoms are made up of the three smallest units (proton, neutron, electron)

Sprion could easily be a three stage. First stage could be an individual quark with variants representing the flavors or quarks. The second Evo would represent an individual electron composed of the clustered quark pokemon kind of like magneton.
If we want to be really absurd we could have a normal type Pokemon representative of a Planck length/string
