You are incredible ty so much for all your help and your time. I appreciate you more than you know and I know others do as well. An such a selfless soul for giving a free template. Look forward to seeing more of your videos
Angie, thank you so much for this video!! I used all the programs and was able to make awesome frosted shot glasses! I had to do some figuring when I used a full wrap pic, but using what you have said here and in other videos you have, I was able to make it happen! You are my go to person for any of my sublimation need to know!! Keep doing what you are doing!!🤩🤩
I would not recommend using Design Space for this one. You might be able to use their warp feature but I am not crazy about it and the options they have.
Hi Angie. Thank you sooo much for this video! My question is how do you figure what percentage you will need to warp the image or images? For example, I am using a maker's mark 20oz tapered tumbler. Is it just trial and error or is there some way to configure? Thanks!
This was so informative and clearly explained! Thank you! I do have a question, as I am new to sublimation. I have purchased templates on Etsy for the various tumblers, including the tapered ones. I also bought ready-made images for those same templates/tumbler sizes & styles on Etsy. Will they automatically be "warped" as needed to simply drop into the templates, or will I still need to do all the measuring and resizing? I have been using Canva but have only used earring templates to get started, and they are much less complicated! If you have a TH-cam tutorial on how to use these templates, I would be most appreciative for you sending it my way! Thanks! DiAnn
@@AngieHolden I did the same thing thinking the designs would just pop into the template's warped area and Nope, I feel like I wasted my money:( My own fault due to inexperience.
Wow. It sounds complicated. But I think I will replay this and take comprehensive notes. Then it will become a great reference for my future. MY BIG QUESTION: Angie, if you could only afford to buy one piece of equipment, would you purchase a laser or a sublimation printer? Thanks - Shari
Gosh. I use my sublimation printer way more than any other printer I have so for me it is that one. But it would depend on what you want to make frankly!
Hi Angie, I am having issues with sublimation and was wondering if you might be able to help me figure out what's going on. There are what looks like blue splatters around the image. 😮
You could be having issues with too much ink or humidity. You can try changing your print settings to lay down less ink. The splatters can be blowout around the image.
First, thanks for generator for curved templates. I didn't know about it and that is really life saver. Second, your advice how to warp design to curved template is completely wrong. You have template which is like an arc wrap. But what you will do if you have a product who have curved, but not similar shape? Correct way to warp your design to shape is: 1. You need to open your generated template (like PDF you do) 2. You need to draw rectangular shape. In this step you need to draw rectangular similar to size of your template. You need to imagine 4 corner dots like in rectangular (top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right). In example for this template, 4 corners of rectangular would be start and end point of arch on top, and start and end point of bottom arch. Of course you should not need to draw rectangular in millimeter, because you will correct it later with warp tool, but rectangular size should be similar to size of template 3. When you create rectangular shape, right click on that layer and convert to smart object. 4. Select that layer, go to edit, and choose transform-warp option 5. Normally warp grid is 3x3, but in photoshop you can change it to 5x5 for more precise warping, but if shape is not too much complex, 3x3 is pretty enough 6. With warp, you need to set corners dot's first, than with 8 indicators (2 on top, 2 on bottom, 2 on left side and 2 on right side) you will set curves to template shape. In this part most important things is that you will not change direction of indicator, because that will make distortion. For example, if you want to set top curve of warp, you should move left and right indicators in exactly up-down directions. If you move your mouse left or right, that will make distortion. For that you need to zoom in your picture, and in my opinion if you enable grid in photoshop, you will have many lines which will make confusion. Much better is if you have only shape with transparent background, you will zoom in until you see pixels, then you will can move indicator without going left or right, because transparency gray and white squares will be as a grid for it. 7. When you done with warping your smart object to template shape, on layer panels on smart object you will see little square in right bottom corner. Double click on it will open new .PSB tab in photoshop. Because you made smart object, .PSB tab will be in rectangular shape, you put design in it, and when you save that tab, and back to main project, your design will be warped to shape you define with warp. Sorry if I made grammatical mistakes, English is not my main language, and if my explanation is confused, there are many tutorials how to warp a picture into a non common shapes. Only don't forget that KEY is to convert layer to smart object exactly after you draw rectangular shape and before you do warp. For example, if you warp first, then you convert to smart object, when you double click to open .PSB tab, picture will be warped, not rectangular. Hope this help.
Here’s what I would like to know! Why can’t I get free stuff from Cricut, like so many others do? I don’t think it’s fare! Is it because I’m a male or I’m not gay? No, I don’t want their cheap files, I want solid stuff , I can use. I’m about ready to quit the whole damn mess because of Cricut bias ways of giving free stuff to everyone and excluding guys like me! I’m pissed!!!
Gday Angie, thank you for all your hard work you put into making it easier for all of us in youtube land, your a legend xx
Thanks for watching!

Wow thanks Angie. This even helps with sewing projects as well. Thanks again for providing useful information and the sites to help us make templates.
Glad it was helpful!

YAY! Happy to help!
Thank you, dear!! I just got my sublimination printer set up, and I'm still in the playing stage to get it perfected.
You got this!
Thank you so much for this video! I bought stemless wine glasses and was having a hard time getting my image straight. This video is so helpful ❤
Happy to help!
Very, very informative! Thank you for another great video! 🙂
Happy to help!
Awesome Video, Angie… Great tips! How can you do this with an SVG on cricut design space?
I would not recommend using Design Space for this one. You might be able to use their warp feature but I am not crazy about it and the options they have.
Thank you for this it will be soooo useful. How would you make a template for a shaped blank such as a Christmas tree or a shamrock shape?
I just print my design larger than I need to in order to cover the entire surface.
I just love how easy you make this!! Thank you for all you do
GREAT video…Thank you!
Thank you for the information!
Happy to help!

Just warping it where it fits the curve of the template you create.
Thanks for the info!
Thanks for watching!
I'd like to see how to do the 20oz curved tapered. I keep getting gapping
It would be the same process as shown in the video.

I am not sure on the Etsy templates! They may or may not be warped for the curve depending on the seller.

Hi how do you get the lines for the template to stay if you are wanting to cover the whole glass?
You could leave them on there and crop the image around them.
thanks lady

Thank you so much. I will try that. I appreciate you.
How do you print onto a mug wrap sublimination paper??
You would print with sublimation ink onto sublimation paper with a sublimation printer.
What did u type in for that temple5
I showed the steps that I followed in the video.
My sublimation with pink colors comes out to the orange side, what causes this?
Try this: th-cam.com/video/hu0b4NQor6U/w-d-xo.html
