Is there a way to sublimate the sides of the ceramic coasters so that the design bleeds all the way down the sides? Maybe making the design on the paper larger??
I am having such a hard time with printing coasters. I am using the Sure Color F170 and trying to make coasters using cricket design space. However when I go to print and my image is mirrored (on cricket) it prints not mirrored. So I tried to not mirror it and it won’t cut around the circles correctly. Either way it’s not correct. I tried to turn it off on the printers drivers to reprint on cricket and it still is doing it. It being automatically turned on messes with it when I am trying to use it in design space. Is there any way to turn it off permanently? Or do you have a video showing what to do with this issue? I’m thinking it would have been easier to just convert a eco tank at this point more options when printing as far as settings go and seems to be easier to use than this one. Next time I purchase a sublimation printer I will be paying the extra for the sawgrass lol
The F170 automatically mirrors everything so you are mirroring twice. if you want to use the Cricut to cut around for whatever reason, I would mirror in Design Space. Then use print dialogue box to print and turn OFF in that dialogue box.
When I put tape down the side like you did on the coasters I get a blank space. My ink runs over the side a little bit and then I have a blank white space where the table was. What am I doing wrong? Thank you
Hahaha, the only reason I clicked on this video was to see if there was a secret you knew on the shading on the sides. It’s ok though. Doesn’t bother me, but I’m giving as gifts so I like them to look better. My fix is that I don’t use tape so the shading is consistent. And I do them one at a time. 😂
Thanks, they look amazing
I'm glad you think so!
Very nice. Thanks for the great video & tips.
Angie, they look beautiful. Your tutorials are always done so well. Thank you, Happy New Year!

Wow they look great.
Thanks!
They look really amazing !
Thank you!
Beautiful Angie!
Thank you! 😊
I use the procreate app for my designs, I'm wondering what colour profile I'd use for sublimation on mugs, tumblers etc...thanks!
I do not print directly from Procreate so I am no help!
Love these they are amazing
Thanks!
They're beautiful 😻
Thank you!
Hi Angie, thanks for the great video and the free downloads. Where did you get that other mat for the heat press? Thanks in advance.
From Artesprix!
Great video. What is the best absorbent material to sublimate on? Especially for the car coasters? Thank you
I have seen car coasters in neoprene as well as sandstone that would work well!
Could you use an Artesprix marker to color the edge of the Cricut coasters before sublimating? Or even a sharpie after the fact.
Unfortunately you can't color right on something with Artesprix markers. A sharpie would work or even paint frankly!
Awesome video, Angie! I have the Nomex pad I use for slate blanks. Can I use it for ceramic blanks too, or do you recommended the Artesprix heat pad?
Yep it works!

I have tried and just not happy with any methods I used.
Have you ever tried using regular home construction tiles from Home Depot?
No. You would have to add a sublimation coating to them.
Love your videos! Also, your shirt is really cute. Where did you get that design?
I think Creative Fabrica. I made it years ago!
How do you avoid mdf coasters from warping after sublimation? Thank you.
First, I would preheat them to remove moisture. Second, cool them under something heavy.
Thanks a lot
Angie, I'm having trouble accessing the stained glass coaster files. What am I doing wrong?
Not sure! Try emailing angie@thecountrychiccottage.net and we can help!
make market from michaels coasters have you used them they are thinner so time said 356 for 120min it does'nt seem long enough.
I would always try the time and temp recommended by the place you purchase.

@ thank you I finally figured it out. I think my frustration got the best of me.

You can put tape all the way around that edge if the sublimation on the sides bothers you. That way no ink will get on there.
I like the Cricut square coasters,I really don’t like the circle ones
Those are great as well!

It is a problem! The tape around the edge would work but it is so time consuming to add!!
😅
I bought some coaster from amazon and i dont know why it didnt transfer properly
Sublimation blanks can be low quality.
The square has faded edges on some of the design, this is a issue with using any auto press
Since the edges are brown it is not as noticeable as the white.
Replay- thanks
