When I sent this arrangement to Ricky Dillard and New G back in 2019, I never imagined he'd actually do it...and NEVER dreamed Thomas would be the one singing it!! Thanks for your brilliant analyzation. Blessings!!
Thanks a lot for recommending this arrangement to Ricky Dillard and New G. What he and Thomas Allen did with this song left me speechless. Thanks for being obedient. 🙇🏾♂️
OMG I attended Morgan State with Thomas Allen! It's so fulfilling to see him thrive in his God given talent. He's always been, in my opinion, unequivocally one of the best vocalists I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. As always, I LOVE your accurate assessments and commentaries Jaron. Please keep being great!
The "thyroid cartilage" breakdown at 4:15 was so brilliant, I had to run it back two or three times. It's so rare that we hear clarity on HOW we do things with our voices. This kind of teaching is what's gonna preserve our vocal chords years down the line!
This amazing vocal analysis is one have been waiting on! This guy singing is a vocal beast and his training shows in this song. You have given me so much clarity and understanding of my own voice. I too am a countertenor that uses all aspects of my voice to tell a story or paint a picture! You’re amazing! Jaron keep doin whatcha doin!!!!!
His voice after he entered college went crazy! When he was a young child you could hear that he had a special gift but the training he received throughout his childhood and into adulthood. Jesus! Keep grinding Thomas! #DanvilleVA
Jaron @10:43 - you're absolutely right, this song is masterfully complex delivered simply packaged. I believe this is what make great art - when a "very-well put together body of work" offers new findings and discoveries over time that the user/listener can thoughtfully appreciate. Great observation.
YOU are so amazing. Every time I watch your show I learn so much about the voice and how it can be used to produce various sounds when singing.I wish more people could hear your show you really know your craft young man you TRULY DO!
I love your videos, mainly Ricky and New G. I’m a BIG fan going back to the beginning in 1989 when they won McDonald’s gospel fest. Thomas’ voice is aaahmazing!! ❤️😊
I'm relatively new to these analysts' take on gospel, but I love your breakdown because it's professional and relatable at the same time. Please continue to bring people like me (vocally challenged) into a knowledge I might otherwise not be exposed to.
Now this right here! I’ve been WAITING, wishing for you to analyze this video for some time. He is an impeccable musician and vocalist. A great vocal performance from an incredible project! Excellent analysis, per usual.
You should do peace be still by kelontae Gavin it’s just like this song but he had a different approach vocally but I would still like to see/hear your feedback on it

Jaron, could you please analyse Kim Burrell SANGING Perfect Peace at Shawn McLemore Memorial Concert: th-cam.com/video/k0coTyd67XQ/w-d-xo.html (until 5:25) Here are some other views to the same performance (if you prefer): 1. th-cam.com/video/Uv4jYaSuSFw/w-d-xo.html 2. th-cam.com/video/k9E6Sa0x4k0/w-d-xo.html
Awesome analysis. Awesome song! Just awesomeness all around! I'm so glad you did this, I have played this song over and over for so many months. Just stuck on how good Thomas is. Would love to hear you analyse Darrel Walls some day!
🤩 I am so grateful for having discovered this man through you Jaron! Ugh! And You BETTA PREACH Sirs! “Use your voice your way”….ugh! Yes! 🙏 Chills from you both! I’m so healthily addicted to your channel.
I would love for you to do an evaluation on one of the world's greatest falsetto singers.. ((Sylvester)) People in the church in the dance halls in the nightclubs everywhere he's a legend and people everywhere knows who he is.. So don't be a shame or afraid to bring him to your platform!!
Good brother I never have to request because you bring them right on time👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I love this song and all the voices were phenomenal. Bravo to the Mistro himself, Thee Ricky Dillard🌹!!!
Looks like you are slimming down. Looking good sir. Fantastic analysis, I love this song. It brings tears to my eyes. The soloist is just so incredible.
🗣JARON!! Thank you for sharing your gifts to the world through your channel! Your love for God (and New G 😉) bleeds through this video, especially the end!! I can go on & on but I’ll share these points: #1: thank.YOU.for analyzing this song for the thousands of us who have been in your comments 🤣 he did it y’all! 🙌🏽😩 2ndly: your analyzation of songs/gifts (particularly gospel music/singers) which in my eyes, a genre that is slowly but swiftly becoming an endangered one, ✌🏽IS✌🏽 one of the life-lines thats holding the genre up by providing deeper exposure to our musical culture! How do I know? I’m one of your day one subscribers and watching you/your channel evolve esthetically, followers grow to the TWENTIES of THOUSANDS but your choice of songs to analyze shows that you literally “understand the assignment” by providing consistency and meaningful content!! No one is doing it the way you are and that’s nothing but GOD using YOU!! You tell us to be “authentically you” after every video and you are doing just that…which.is.rare! You’re so necessary to the culture of gospel music & I appreciate the emphasis on educating each viewer on how gospel singers praise, bless & honor God with their vocal abilities is a blessing! ThankU x millions.billions.trillions🖤 Lastly: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! 🧡🦃🍁 we just love you!!
Thank you, so much for the small tips. I was contacted last week to sing this in a Concert. Crazy right, God said do it. I am so grateful for the gift he's given me
“...It actually can, you just don’t know how to let it go that low.” Oop! Lol. The head voice/falsetto debate is so tired. Just sing! Loving these frames on you. Happy thanksgiving 🦃
Jaron you sure he ain't yo long lost brother cause yall singing voices are giving very much from the same womb, the same bosom.😏 He so talented and anointed with the spirit. But I'm sure yall is siblings.
That "spread" that you analyzed at 10:50 is what I think of as the quintessential Gospel Sah-pran-uh sound. It's what I hear at times in the voices of Callie Day, Chrystal Rucker, Tiffany Mosley, Deniece Williams ( th-cam.com/video/_Uqfo5_CHEY/w-d-xo.html ), and others. When compared to freaks of nature like Karen Clark-Sheard or Lashun Pace the voices are always a little bit lighter and "heady". Every time I hear it I think of CHOICH.
Sending the original performs to my mom's back home in the Netherlands. We love us some food singer and music! Again I'm learning as you speak/analyze and hope I get to my innercourage again at some point and start singing again, cause right now everything is locked..from yaw to vocalchords! Loving the frame on you! Looks good. Happy Thanksgiving ❤
Can you PLEAAAAAASE do Lucresia Campbell ...the best gospel operatic singer ever❤️❤️❤️❤️ this song specifically th-cam.com/video/0ZUldiDi71Y/w-d-xo.html
Well, I’m trying some new things to condense the video and see how they do. Lol. It also cuts down a ton in editing and recording. I may bring the intro back!
I just call myself a soprano or alto mostly, but yeah - still the same notes, I just access them differently. These vocal range types/fachs are derived from Western European music, so even that can make these titles a bit ambiguous and limiting.
When I sent this arrangement to Ricky Dillard and New G back in 2019, I never imagined he'd actually do it...and NEVER dreamed Thomas would be the one singing it!! Thanks for your brilliant analyzation. Blessings!!

What an arrangement! Thanks for sharing it with the world. 🌍✨
Great Job, Zeke! Keep up the good work... Write something real good for Kim Burrell ;-)
You’re amazing
Bless you man!
"Be vocally you" 💙💯💣✌🏽💪🏾🙏🏾
OMG I attended Morgan State with Thomas Allen! It's so fulfilling to see him thrive in his God given talent. He's always been, in my opinion, unequivocally one of the best vocalists I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.

Small world! Thank you so much!
He’s very talented his voice is 🔥 he also sings in the soprano section in the choir! and jaron you are just 🔥🔥
Thank you!
i think there is another dude slim and with a beard that sings soprano i dont know his name
The "thyroid cartilage" breakdown at 4:15 was so brilliant, I had to run it back two or three times. It's so rare that we hear clarity on HOW we do things with our voices. This kind of teaching is what's gonna preserve our vocal chords years down the line!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed!
Yeah, Brother!!! You broke that down like no one else could have. Sir Thomas Allen wore this entire song out. He is truly gifted.
Thank you!
Your ear and control is phenomenal, as always!
Thank you!
This arrangement was as close to perfect as a choir can get. Blessed!
This amazing vocal analysis is one have been waiting on! This guy singing is a vocal beast and his training shows in this song. You have given me so much clarity and understanding of my own voice. I would agree. Effortlessly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you are not a teacher your are a Master Educator Life Changer in the Key of Music !!! 👏🏽
His voice after he entered college went crazy! When he was a young child you could hear that he had a special gift but the training he received throughout his childhood and into adulthood. Jesus! Keep grinding Thomas! #DanvilleVA
Also very Spiritually Presented Vocally by Lead Singer and Choir. Let there Be Peace On Earth and Let It Began With Me is extremely meaningful.
I remember hearing Thomas sing for the first time at Morgan State in the choir room. Dude has always been a problem.
I grew up with Thomas is little old Danville VA!! He was a powerhouse even in his younger days!!!
Jaron @10:43 - you're absolutely right, this song is masterfully complex delivered simply packaged. Not you hitting the G#5 sitting comfortably 🙆🏻♂️

The transitions in and out of "Peace Be Still" are seamless! This is an awesome video!

Thomas has been incredible since childhood. Humble and anointed.🥰🙌🏽
Yes!!!!! And thank you for encouraging the masses to be authentically them. 👑💜

I’m glad you found me too! THANK YOU! 🙌🏾✨
I’m so happy you finally did this analysis. G. Thomas Allen is a force.
One of my favorite songs
Yes, I was hoping you did this song
😉
My favorite counter tenor is Patrick Dailey. He has a phenomenal voice and execution!
I know him!
You love a Morgan State countertenor lol. Love Patrick
That’s awesome!
WHY AM I JUST NOTICING, LIKE OMG 5:53-6:12 ?!?!?!? I've got a whole 'nother take on this song!
I would love for you to do an evaluation on one of the world's greatest falsetto singers.. ((Sylvester)) People in the church in the dance halls in the nightclubs everywhere he's a legend and people everywhere knows who he is.. So don't be a shame or afraid to bring him to your platform!!

Wow amazing, love how you break this down
Your vocal analysis skills are superb! I am a person that must “dig in” to things that I am interested in. You are a great resource!

Doxology is also one of my favorites that he has led
Amazing!!!!
Oh that's beautiful
Omg I listen to this religiously! Lawd why I couldn’t be blessed with this gift
I think this is the same dude that sings a song for Alvin Campbell and total praise. He is phenomenal
Really great analysis.
This is good!!! Great wisdom!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Awesome review of this song. This is my first time seeing your content. Subscribed.
Thank you so much! And welcome!
Jaron, this guy and myself are countertenors. Im counter that can sing soprano or tenor in my chest.
Which one you like better?
4:58 9:17 11:00 😭❤🤯
I appreciate you! ✨
…I thought it was just me!!!!!! #thankU
Thank Thank you
Have you considered Ntokozo Mbambo? Talk about 🔥! She is on TH-cam and I highly recommend you start with "Yi Naye". The worship is so good!!
I would love to see Thomas Allen & Callie Day work together. We are sure to spot heaven in the 🌍. Lord have mercy!
I heard crescendo on the part when the choir sang prayer
Yall have similar voices!!!
I’ll say ‘thank you’ to that! ✨
Hearing him, I hope you can do Blanche McCalster I know I butchered her last name
Oh I love her.
“...It actually can, you just don’t know how to let it go that low.” Oop! Lol. The head voice/falsetto debate is so tired. Just sing! Loving these frames on you. Happy thanksgiving 🦃
😉😉😉 and thank you so much!
Jaron you sure he ain't yo long lost brother cause yall singing voices are giving very much from the same womb, the same bosom.😏 He so talented and anointed with the spirit. But I'm sure yall is siblings.
Hahaha I’ll take it! Thank you!
Can you do Your the lifter by Ricky Dillard and April Hall and Tamela Mann
Beautifully done ✅ Omg!!! Enjoyed this Tremendously! Well done
Thank you!!
This Is Good Teaching!
Thank you!
He had to be classically in opera or something, This is my favorite from New G,
He use to sing for Morgan state university
Can you do gods gonna do it by Ricky dilliard?
That "spread" that you analyzed at 10:50 is what I think of as the quintessential Gospel Sah-pran-uh sound. It's what I hear at times in the voices of Callie Day, Chrystal Rucker, Tiffany Mosley, Deniece Williams ( th-cam.com/video/_Uqfo5_CHEY/w-d-xo.html ), and others. When compared to freaks of nature like Karen Clark-Sheard or Lashun Pace the voices are always a little bit lighter and "heady". Every time I hear it I think of CHOICH.
Some of his elongated head voice / false setto notes remind me of Whitney Houston, especially the speed of the vibrato and ascending riffs
What's up Jaron Happy Thanksgiving bro
You too!
Does he sing in falsetto? It’s so smooth and beautiful
And it’s POTENT !
Can you analyse Sohyang singing Arirang Alone on Immortal Songs 2?
Sending the original performs to my mom's back home in the Netherlands. We love us some food singer and music! Again I'm learning as you speak/analyze and hope I get to my innercourage again at some point and start singing again, cause right now everything is locked..from yaw to vocalchords! I love this! Thank you! ✨✨
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😮💨😭
Can you do one for Tim BowMansJr tribute to Vickie Winans
A few folks have asked for this.
Are you saying counter tenor voice? If so, how is counter tenor voice different from falsetto?
Can you PLEAAAAAASE do Lucresia Campbell ...the best gospel operatic singer ever❤️❤️❤️❤️ this song specifically th-cam.com/video/0ZUldiDi71Y/w-d-xo.html
What happened to the intro???
Well, I’m trying some new things to condense the video and see how they do. Lol. It also cuts down a ton in editing and recording.
I may bring the intro back!
So you would consider yourself a male soprano, since you’re typically belting “up there” instead of using head voice?
I just call myself a soprano or alto mostly, but yeah - still the same notes, I just access them differently. These vocal range types/fachs are derived from Western European music, so even that can make these titles a bit ambiguous and limiting.
You play waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. Whew!
😌😌😌🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
