As I grow older, (I'm 10 days away from being 55) I've come to understand that multi-tasking is not a superpower, but being intentional is. This message serves as a confirmation for me, and I'm grateful for it. Thank you. 💕 Oh......I can't live without my candle-making supplies. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or stressed, it's my go-to therapeutic activity. I then gift it to a loved one or friend.
Happy early birthday my friend! ✨ Thank you for commenting. I actually started making candles myself. It is very calming. I agree! Love that you’re gifting others. We have alot in common. 💛🕯️
This is right on time! 2024 will be the year that I find out what my "essential" things are and I'm excited to discover them. I've already started saying no to new things and I let go of two side gigs that were no longer bringing me joy. I have a new project at my full-time job that is meaningful. No more multi-tasking my career; it's not healthy for my 52-year-old brain. I want to do one thing WELL and not multiple things mediocrely. My mantra for the new year is "Just because I can, doesn't mean I have to..." I have been working on eliminating things to decrease decision fatigue all month long. Next up, digital de-cluttering. The new year will expose a capsule wardrobe, a basic skin and hair routine (no new products), a signature fragrance, and a clear workspace. God is calling me to the luxury of simplicity at this stage of life, and I'm here for it.
Wow, you are amazing! It looks like you have a stellar plan towards your new simplified living in the new year! I am so happy for you and of course you and I are in agreement. Thanks for commenting! 💛✨
Blessings and thank you. Maintaining my daily routine, very similar to yours, wherever I am as best as possible is what I can't live without, which, equals peace of mind; an absolute non negotiable must have. I will stick with you. 🤲🏽🙏🏽🌟💐🥰🌞💖🙏🏽🤲🏽
so curious if you would still recommend dry fasting once in a while...? am thinking of trying it. am menopausal and don't want to do more harm than good. but seems so helpful to so many.
Hard to say in menopause. If you have a holistic doctor please seek advice. I personally haven’t dried fast since “the change” although I am not ruling it out. As long as we are well hydrated and in good health then start out slow in a short timespan. 💛

I will be 55 and I tell you i feel and think the same way as you. Simple is so much better and its easier. That's all I can do and enjoy my peace.
Amen my friend! Top priority is to guard your peace because you deserve it. 💛
