Engineer Waves From Cincinnati Eastern Railroad Rock Train, Amtrak Passenger Trains With New Locomotives & CSX Freight Trains In Florida. Lakeland, Florida And Bradley Junction, Florida Are Featured.
Cincinnati Eastern Railroad empty rock train passing Mount Orab, Ohio with a wave from the engineer. Mrs Tooth filmed this video at the railroad crossing west of town. That was filmed on September 18, 2024. There is also another train in this video that she filmed. I have a video of a phosphate train that she filmed in central Florida back in February, 2024.
I didn't want to just post a short video of a CCET train so I put some trains in the video from Florida that I never posted. We see an Amtrak train with the new Siemens Charger locomotives going eastbound through Lakeland. 75 of them are being delivered to Amtrak this year. Then we see a westbound Amtrak train in Lakeland at the abandoned Gay Street railroad crossing.
The next train is a CSX local entering Winston yard just south of Gay Street at the Old Tampa Highway railroad crossing. The locomotive is running long hood forward. A little bit later just before dark a bobcat walked across the road towards a dump by the tracks. Minutes later a CSX freight train went through the same location running eastbound toward Lakeland. I walked all the way up to the crossing and the dump while the train was moving. The bobcat was over there somewhere. I saw it twice.
The last train is phosphate train that Mrs Tooth filmed. This train is just south of Bradley Junction, Florida along Fort Green Road. You can see me filming it also by the railroad crossing. I found another half dozen of her videos that I never posted. I might make a video of all of them together. She has a good video of a Florida East Coast Railroad train that I hate to waste.
