I am a UNLV fan and this was one of two moments where I gave a standing ovation to Nevada.

@@christbh16 Yes over Oregon. Do you realize how it insane it would have been to keep Oregon over them?
Boise State would have a 36 game winning streak, including 4 Top 25 wins that season.
Not to mention that 36 game winning streak includes to back to back wins over Oregon - both in Eugene and in Boise and neither game was really even close. Boise State led by 3 scores IN BOTH GAMES.
Plus Boise State had a common opponent win in Oregon State, which Boise State won by a larger margin.
Plus Boise State averaged just 9 yards less per game on offense as Oregon, but allowed 114 less yards per game and 19 less ppg.
Plus Boise State would have averaged a margin of victory at 10.2 MORE POINTS PER GAME than Oregon.
There would literally be ZERO justification to keep Oregon ahead of them, and if they had by some magic explanation done so the sport would have been absolutely destroyed and undeniably proven to be extremely corrupt and fraudulent, while in the midst of the NCAA and BCS literally being sued for federal charges of corruption and fraud by the US Department of Justice.

@@brian2440 right and the BCS would have them at #2 atleast just on % adding onto the top 25 wins
