- Kellen Moore and those BCS Busters from Boise State are off and running again, coming into the heart of mighty SEC country to beat up Georgia. Moore threw for three touchdowns -- giving him 102 in his career -- and the No. 5 Broncos romped past the 19th-ranked Bulldogs 35-21, boosting their hopes of making another run to a major bowl while dealing a huge blow to embattled Georgia coach Mark Richt.

Even though I'm not a Boise fan, couldn't help but root for the "giant killers" that Boise was at the time. Boise vs Oklahoma 2007 was an excellent game as well 👏

as a huge Dawgs fan, Kellen Moore was my favorite QB after Colt McCoy after David Greene. Pretty good list of winners right there AND two lefties!

I’d say this BSU Game is a hell of a masterpiece game right behind the Oklahoma Sooners 2006 game.
In the modern era of the 2022 college football season, Boise state isn’t ranked at all, but only 7-3 and undefeated in the mountain west division. Meanwhile, Georgia is the empire of the college football season. I would love to see BSU take on Georgia again after this epic 2011 game and overthrow them to the bottom.
2022 Boise State has an atrocious offense, so probably not…..
However if Alabama makes the playoff this year, Boise State needs to be retroactively awarded national title shares for 2008-2011.
Cuz essentially Alabamas argument is they lost by only 4 points in 2 games.
2008-2011 Boise State went 48-2 in the regular season and their only 2 losses were by a combined 4 points.
These boise state teams would’ve won the national championship.. They were never given the chance…
At the end of the game the commentator says "but the real season for Georgia starts next week." What kind of comment was that? Their 'Real' season started and finished with that game against the Broncos that year!
He means SEC play.
SEC play while Boise started MTW play. SEC plays about 5 to 6 ranked games a year, Boise plays maybe 2.

With the refocusing on our (BSU's) program's foundations and visions for where we want to be as a program that seem to be taking place, I'm hoping one day within the next....decade or so, that can happen.
Definitely first thing to do is make sure we are solid on our playing foundations, which I'm sure will come as the new staff becomes more integrated over time. From there, continue to play more elite, high-caliber teams in our schedule, and then hopefully get out of the Mountain West into a better conference.

See, i was half and half with those Georgia uniforms. I feel like it was too much red but those helmets with the red and charcoal grey was pretty slick looking.

@@wapiti128 that's fine would I prefer him over avalos yup, but I'd prefer a literal ham sandwich then avalos. Atleast the sandwich would feed someone. But let's not act like Harsin isn't partly responsible for the cultural decay and back sliding of this program.

@@richardtaylor566 we are at the same place you are in your life. Trying to do your best, but restricted in your performance by your own faults and limitations, and likely never to be as great as you once were.
@@richardtaylor566 still Top 5 all time in career record. Still one of two teams in the entire league to not have a losing season in 20 years. Still won a conference championship in the last 3 years. Still average 3 loses or less in the last 5 years.
