I have saved 6 months to a year emergency money but i think i want them to become savings for my future home .it's not easy to save but it's easy to think your future and wonder what's going ro happen to you if you are broke amd you lose your home etc.
Anyways i prefer not to be homeless and broke so it's better to save .

Been following Dave Ramsey for a while, learnt a lot. Am glad you are working on being debt free. I am unfamiliar with Kenya, perhaps you can do a video on cost of living ( apart from groceries)cost of housing, cars etc and how you manage that in your budget as well , like how you explained about loans for Education.

Avoid unnecessary expenses...you guys have saved lots of money on school fees!!your kids do a home schooling...for us we work we cannot monitor our kids at home..while doing home schooling..we have to pay school fees for them..but we choose pocket friendly schools that do not charge an arm and leg as school fees

This is so enlightening. What are the options for saving the emergency fund that you can access quickly other than M-Shwari?
A separate bank account would work, with an ATM card that you dobt walk around with to avoid temptation 😁 I find saccos cheaper for this. 🤗
