I think they did this in response to a Make A Wish Foundation request...in a hospital room. Even more amazing than it already is!!!

Avi did a European tour all summer. He is working on new music now.

My understanding is This was in a green room either before or after a concert, it was a special performance through the make a wish foundation. From what I understand they used to do a lot for the foundation, but I'm not sure, and I don't know if they still do any or not.
Glad you finally got to see this one! As everyone has said, Avi is releasing a new one on the 17th, and he has been working on a new album. If you subscribe to him you will probably get the teasers along the way. With how wonderful notifications have been lately, though, that is no guarantee. He has posted things to his shorts from time to time (although many of them are on throw-back Thursdays so the are just re-postings of old shorts).
We all love Matt , truly, but God do I miss Avi so much!
The good thing is we can still listen to Avi in the past and now still :)

Avi and Kevin were such an amazing team. Matt it's amazing, and I'm glad that Avi helped find him. I'm sorry, but Avi with his depth and sound and strength...is irreplaceable.
@@traciesamdal5760gotta correct this since people keep spreading this rumor. Avi had nothing to do with finding Matt. Ben Bram their Arranger/producer was the one who thought of and contacted Matt to see if he wanted to sing for a group who needed a bass. At the time of Matt’s first audition, he had no idea he was even auditioning for pentatonix. It wasn’t until his call back that he found out it was for Ptx. There’s an article written about Matt joining Ptx that says all this and then Matt did an interview with Peter Barber on TH-cam and confirmed that it was Ben who suggested Matt for the group. He said Avi wasn’t part of selecting him.
So funny how you think that your Patreons always find the hidden gems that none of us know about. Trust me, most of us always know about these “hidden gems”. We pentaholics know about all they have done. In fact this one is usually highly recommended to reactors when they’re in disbelief that Ptx doesn’t use instruments or that they can pull off their songs live.

Kirsties hair was done up in a faux hawk. A fake Mohawk. Btw Ptx just released a greatest hits Christmas album that has 8 new songs you can react to. Even if it’s just audio. Although I bet you haven’t heard a lot of the greatest hits that are included too. Not sure if you’ve really gotten that deep into their Christmas music yet. They have a ton that can keep you reacting to Ptx for a long time. 7 albums plus a best of and also a greatest hits.

This one was done as a Make-A-Wish request from a young man and his guests. Pentatonix meets a lot of Make-A Wish kids at concerts. Some of the PTXperience videos show them interacting with Make-A-Wish kids and their families. Kinda breaks your heart and makes you smile at the same time.
Hey D, there are a lot of songs by Avi that you have not checked out yet! Aberdeen, Get Down, i can't lie, Floating on a Dream etc. Plus when he was still with ptx he released an EP under Avriel and the Sequoias with his friends. There is a bluegrass version of Hey Ya (outkast) and quarter past four, etc.
I hope you react to older Avi while waiting for new music! By the way the new song comes out 11/17.
