@Mark777h 100%. Everyone is sleeping on Borthwick, but he is smart. He is able to come up with different styles to suit playing different teams. England are definitely one to watch
Class coach and gritty players with fierce determination. Considering the limited amount of players they have to pick from (comparatively to SA), Ireland punch, and win, well above their weight group. That commands respect on every level. Good luck to both teams, hoping our Boks can and will win though, and also no serious injuries.
No fan of the Irish (2004 tap penalty) but i think they're showing some real class and guts in this tour. They woul;d not go away last weekend. I like Big Faz too, means what he says, says what he means. Should be a cracking game tomorrow!
This is far from the biggest game in Irish rugby history . Try , a very difficult game at end of a two year season , including World Cup, where everyone is exhausted , mentally tired with small injuries and the players hope nothing happens to them like it did to Dan Sheehan . They will be up for the game , for sure . Wish them well but mostly I wish for no injuries
It's the biggest game according to the coach and players. Before the series, everyone in the Northern Hemisphere was saying Ireland are the best team in the world, they were unlucky at the World Cup etc. On Saturday they have to come out and show the world that they are really the best. Talking about fatigue and long season is just a lazy narrative, it's not like the South African players were not playing games also.
We are missing 4 players too. Whenever we play Ireland at home it is the last game of our season with injured and tired players. Yet you minnows gloat. Marx is better than Sheehan and he misses the entire RWC. Stop whinging. I agree with Farrell.
For genuine Irish rugby fans it is easily the most important game of the weekend. The biggest rugby game in Irish rugby history is so obviously tongue in cheek by Andy that it beggars belief that anyone thinks he actually means it. I expect it will be a tight game on the scoreboard with S.A.’home advantage just swinging it, but Ireland will certainly make it difficult at times. Neither would I be surprised to see Ireland ahead at half time. I am a big admirer of the boks, but am looking forward to an exciting game, as any rugby fan should be. It would be great if rugby could lose what I would describe as the non supporters, the ones who can’t appreciate or admire a player who is playing for the opposition. The ones who just want to criticise everything whether it’s S.A. the referee or Ireland. I should stop before I get accused of being just like them.
Beating the All Blacks in New Zealand where the biggest matches. This match now that the series cannot be won is a face saver at the most. Ireland is in transition there is a changing of the guard taking place now. They where the best in the world until the Springboks reached the top of the table. That's life. They gave the world of rugby something to enjoy for quite a while. I'm so sorry they lost that semi final match against the All Blacks in the World Cup. A fairytale final between them and the Springboks was not to be. Keep it up Ireland you where world number one for good reason. Springbok fan.
Hope the Boks dont go to sleep against ireland, its happened before when they get complacent. But Ireland is the team to play if you want to see how good or bad you are.

Without Aki and Sheehan this is an uphill battle. Also, playing their 3rd and 4th string scrum-halves could also be an issue. They would need to have a massive tactical advantage to overcome the boks who had zero injuries and have more talent on the park.
This Guy Andy F is just extraordinary to the finest and greatest degree ~ what a helluva coach and super RugbyFootball Leader Ireland is most fortunate and blessed in him… Good luck to them all🥂 ~ from a Bokke supporter‼️ beste 🪖
Despite missing Aki, Sheehan, Gibson-Park, Keenan, Casey, Conan, Hansen I actually think this team is even stronger than last weeks team. Ryan in to add beef alongside big Joe and Beirne at 6 which he’s excelled at throughout his career for Munster & Ireland at different stages. Having those 3 big players particularly for the set piece is huge! Kelleher is no slouch as we saw in the World Cup game against SA when he started ahead of Sheehan and we all know Ringrose is our most talented centre, arguably the best 13 in world rugby and Murray is playing very well lately and his experience is key. 116 caps speaks for itself.
Ringrose is not in the world top 5 and not sure what your rationale is for that. He was poor when it counted v nz, and passed even less than aki. As for beirne, yes, he's played 6 before. What I'm concerned about is he's always returned to the 2nd row straight away.
Aki- Clearly dominated by Springboks centres, Sheehan-Too soft to compete with Springboks, Gibson-Park - overrated and outplayed by Embrose Papier(7th string springboks) in the semis against the bulls. Hansen- overrated and cant conpete with SA wingers, Keenan- Overrated and has no impact in big games. Ringrose😂. Oh please😂 I nearly spat out my tea. Look it just shows. In South Africa test series you get battered and bruised and you need depth because you WILL lose players due to injury. When South Africa win I dint want to hear any excuses😂
Lol ringrose best centre in the world.....what are the ppl in the north smoking anything that can run with a ball in hand is automatically the best in the world.....yet no medals to show it 😢
@@geansai333 Ringrose has been instrumental for Ireland in the last 5/6 years having been one of the best centres who has beaten all the top teams in world rugby. Likewise for Leinster, incredibly consistent in every department. Most reputable pundits and past players have ranked him in the top 3 centres on world rugby. If you don’t see that then you either don’t watch him play enough or you’re just being ignorant. Likewise with Beirne he could play 4/5/6 & 8 and do just as good a job in each position. 4 & 6 are his best positions. The key area in which he excels for club & country is at the breakdown in particular. He’s a phenomenal jackler for such a tall man.
