Hi Darren. Loving your video, especially the gorgeous scenery. Just watching as you drive through Warrington. I thought to visit where my nan used to live in Penketh. Drove down the A57 through Woolston, and through Warrington. I totally agree. Its an absolutely horrible place to drive. When I was little, I would visit Warrington with my parents, and at Bridge Foot, there was (and I think its still there), a statue of Oliver Cromwell. I really do hate that thing. Apparently, there's four states of him dotted around the country that are all similar, and I saw another when I visited St Ives in Cambridgeshire. And still hated it🤣🤣. My dad's side of the family, come from Howley, very close to Warrington Parish church (as you turn right, and its dead ahead). Another fact is that George Formby is buried in this church yard. I've attended more family weddings here than anywhere else🤣. If you walk around the church, there are some dents in the walls where cannon balls were fired at the church, although I've not seen any. And there's a great pub literally butted up against the church gates The Ring O'Bells. The story about the tunnel from the house to the church is one I've head as well. The house where my dad lived, is about a 10 minute walk, and as a boy, would sing solo in the church choir. Yep, as you drove out after picking up, I saw the house where my dad lived. Its tucked back in the terraces behind the newer houses on the left
Oh that’s really good, I’ve been inside that church a few times, it’s huge and really nice. If I’m ever there again I’ll keep a look out for the cannon ball markings too.
Not sure if its a combination of the "white noise" road noise and a perfect balance of vocal commentary but your videos are so much more enjoyable within the HGV UK scene. Could be Northern bias, but it's always top quality content, just no fuss, no drama and proper visual of your life, keep up the good work Darren mate, hope the little one gets better ASAP. Book the wife a quick spa for being an absolute trooper holding down the fort. Proud of you lad!

we mostly go down south on holiday , the lake district or down to whitby , love cornwall , but thats a long drive , getting to old for that one , them variable bloody speed cameras i hate them , before brum then again before bristol same if you come up the M1 from Leicester i normaly cut accross at scotch corner to the A66 then on to the M6 just to break the boredom , glad the wee guy is on the mend ive got 2 both in there 40s now lol
Love this broski, im from the midlands myself but not there 70% of the time due to travelling so much, its hard times away from the family but its who we do it for! Situation handled like a true british gent 👊

It's a good job it wasn't a Friday when you got that flat... on the other hand you could probably do with a beer or two at the weekend. Ita good to hear that your little man is on the mend aswell mate, take care and enjoy your evening.
Personally, don't over complicate it, don't want the lad to do loads of hours driving then triple the editing time, time with the family is more important personally.

Whitby is a nice area we visited there the other year and absolutely love the lakes, can’t go wrong there if you get the weather that is
