That is one gorgeous and very rare enduro. The candy apple red paintjob is stunning. God, I would love that bike. Looks brand new out of the crate! Happy Thanksgiving Brother. ML&R.
Beautiful bike! I’ve got three in my garage right now, one bought new in 70 by my grandpa, one from 71 by my dad, and third 72 was restored by a local shop here in Phoenix back in the early 2000.
This one raised my eyebrows! I owned a sl 70 in childhood, knew of sl 100. Never knew honda sl 350 twin Enduro. Wow! My dad had 1971 350 street bike twin and it plenty fast. All i can say is I'm wowed, i wish i could ride it!
I’m smiling from ear to ear. This motorcycle was a big part of my life back in 71’. It was actually my brothers motorcycle but I had access to ride it anytime I wanted. I at 15 years of age and weighing maybe 125. I was the fastest kid in the whole north end of town. In my neighborhood riding bikes was the main activity we all did, we all had bikes. I lived back up to a river and had plenty of fire roads to tear around on. Nobody could hold a candle me on the bike. Not even the two stroke Yamahas in the neighborhood. I was King. Summer vacation that year my brother I rode to the top of Pikes Peak on that bad boy. I know their considered big heavy pigs for an off-road machine but man in 71’ that bike was cool. It was soon replaced with my own bike a 73’CR250 Elsinore. Now that a whole nother story.
Ah, memories; a red '69 SL350 was my sole street transportation back when I was 16, and also pinned myself and my buddy underneath it when I low sided it on a dirt fire road turn. Good times
