Kaplin Cycles "We Sell Fun " Thanks for all the Hard work, Preservation and care of the Beautiful Motorcycles we all love and cherished to see them all again is a Blessing, thankyou Ken.
God Bless America.
I restored on of these from 2 bikes (one with a twisted frame). It’s Poppy Yellow Metallic just like the one in your video. I chose to do this as my first restoration because of your channel and the SL’s that you showed us in some of your videos from 3-4 years ago. Love you guys!
Beautiful bike ! The Xl Hondas were sweet for time period!!!! Love the early thumpers ☺️
I love that stunning enduro's beautiful paintjob! I've never seen that color before on any Honda motorcycle. Probably because the bike is from 1972, a year before I was born! Lol....Yall's connections to find vintage bikes like this, that still look brand new, out of the crate, are Amazing!
Oh the early 70s... Dirt bikes, magazine subscriptions, iron on tranfer tshirts, Alice Cooper albums on the turntable...
That Xl is exactly like my buddy Rick's..
Me on my TS Suzuki and him on the XL ripping trails all day
You lived my childhood... When I was 13 I had a dirt bike (Yamaha 100 Enduro) Best friend had a Honda CL 100 (Scrambler type bike). We LOVED our motorcycles. I had a subscription to Cycle mag. My favorite album at that time (about 1972 or 73 I think) was Alice Cooper's Billion Dollar Babies. Loved all the songs on that Album. (Except "I love the Dead" That was a little too weird even for me!) I sure wish I could go back and experience some of those times again. If you were a teenager the 70's were FANTASTIC.
"SL". They went to "XL" the next year.
WOW !
You're taking me back to a time when the sun was gold and everybody was happy.
I fell in love as a kid with the SL models.
That twin 175cc is the needle in the haystack.
Good find Ken.
Johnny Boy.
When you pulled that wheelie it put a smile on my face 😮😅
What an incredibly beautiful bike. Definitely brings back memories.
UNBELIEVABLE... THAT A GOLD MINE 👍👍😉😎
That has been very well kept another dime piece brother Ken💪🏻💪🏻💚👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇲✌🏼
She's a beaut, Clark!! 🥰
Did you go back in a time machine and find these bikes. This is unbelievable 😅
😮. I rode one of those EVERYWHERE when I was 12-13 . Not that nice lol. It had a bad stator . We would charge it up and go as fast as it would go to our destination . Few times we had to knock and ask if we could plug in our charger lol.
❤👍 speechless for 175. It is beautiful be good grocery.. . getter around town.
I used to dream of owning one of those. Great bike. I ended up with a 70 RT 360 instead. It was fun but hard to kick. Thanks for great content.
Has a lovely note to it
Fun bike .... Nice wheelie Ken .
I would remanufacture Bultaco 360 Pursangs just the way they were all those years ago if I could.
CR500's and other beast classics are at least in the realm of obtainable.
Nice.this...motocycle..honda..175...showw❤...my friend 😎🇧🇷🏁
I had the Topaz orange sl175 , fun bike when you 14.
Dude !! 71 SL100 my first bike❤❤❤OMG I only have 1 part from it… the chrome exhaust cover😂
my first was a 70 sl 100, green, ngk d8esl spark plug, dont know why i still remember that.
@davidpiacenza9033 That was my first as well. I had to take off from the picnic table . And coast and hop off to stop . Made me a pretty good rider though lol
Frickn gorgeous! Sounds amazing! I had a 1972 SL70... I used to jump that thing 4th gear tapped 60ft to a flat landing at least 100x I'd bend it back and forth....it never quit! Then I got a brand new 1984 CR80 that lasted a season and a half" went straight to the world's best bike..1984 CR500 and did world record jumps on that thing...but didn't know it! How much are you asking for that 175? If you don't mind me asking!
The twin thumpers!!!
I'm looking for a 1973 or 74 Suzuki TM 125. I raced one in the 70's
I think mine was a 71,it was red. Dependable but preferred my Yammie enduros.
Another under glass bike. Beautiful 😢
How much ?
