- So I have an opportunity to get my hands on this internet popular Winspace hyper wheelset in 50mm depth and disc brake version and this video is my first impression review for 500km ride.

great honest review. i used to think the same about Winspace and Lun wheels. i bought a pair of disc 50 hypers in November 2021. 1st impressions were so great that in Jan 2022 ordered a second pair. well, my 1st pair never held air for more than 3 days in the front wheel. i blamed it on other possible issues. after i received my second set, i noticed the same thing . front wheel not holding air for more than 2 or 3 days. i tried 3 different brand of tires with the same result. i contacted Winspace and they requested serial numbers and the likes. 3 weeks went by and no feedback from Winspace. i contacted them again and they recommended i replace the valve stem. i tried that and no improvement. after another 2 weeks of emails with Winspace they offered a $200 credit due to the fact that the only solution they could come up with was for me to use the front wheels with inner tubes. i agreed to it. it has been more than 3 weeks now and no refund and no communication from Winspace. i am assuming i have been taken by another chinese manufacturer like many people have. do not be fooled by all the great reviews. people are getting paid to post them.
Hi bro i also own grail cf sl8.. what size you are using? Im planning to buy new set of wheelset as well. As i am using an xs where wheels are 650b. heard that 700 can fit also? Are you using 700c winspace wheelset?
Yeappp I’m using 700c winspace hyper. Xs and xxs can fit 700c wheel without any issue.
Might get toe overlap if you have a large foot
I noticed that your wheels are wobbling vertically at high spin. Do you notice that as well? I thought this would only happen to cheap carbon wheelsets, but now seems like the expensive one also has the same issue isn't?
That’s when I do the free hub sound check right? Actually it’s quite stable when I mount it on stand. I guess that wobble come from my hand movement tho.
That is caused by the weight of the valve. It happens to any deep section wheels. Whether they cost $100 or $5,000
