Devon Lee is MASSIVELY underrated ... she's essentially a Karate NOOB ... and still held her own against both Tory and Sam ... both far more experienced than her ... also, she was good enough for even Sensei Kim Dae Un to consider her a student with potential ... and while joining Sam and Tory against Sensei Kim Dae Un, the latter lost her edge ...
Hot take: Devon is my favorite character in Cobra Kai... or at least in seasons 4&5. I hope she becomes a main character in season 6 (and no, I didn't say the main character, just at least one of them).

I blame Johnny for Devon cheating at the flag challenge because Johnny got a little too obsessed with Devon he even tried to manipulate Mike Barnes into seeing Devon as the best fighter. Although if Daniel, Johnny, and Amanda actually let Tory and Sam have their rematch and say Tory won and became the female captain of Miyagi Do alongside Robby, what would have happened then? I get that Eli would see a reduced role in the series for the next part of the story but it would be cool to see Tory hesitate during Sekai Taikai and arguably lose to one of the other lower ranked female contestants
Another good video, I’m wondering how they’ll expand on Devon in Season 6. Since atm she has switched sides and now can get Miyagi-Do training. I think a Kenny vs Devon matchup would be interesting. Both have lost to Cobra Kai’s top students the previous season (Robby and Tory), don’t have much experience, learned fast, held in high regard (Silver for Kenny, Kim for Devon). Both probably being around the same level as well.

Tory was going all out against Sam after Terry telling her to get more aggressive and Kreese telling her she’s been fighting all her life and that its up to her. Sam was also going all out too after she got a pep talk from Daniel and Johnny to mix both styles in her own way.
Devin gives a focused 150% everytime. But I think Cobra Kai is hinting at her putting Karate on the back burner. They keep subtly mentioning shed be a better student. i theorize her story will end with johnny and his baby cheering her on as she wins a debate using the no mercy philosophy.

You literally said a few days ago that demetri scales above sam and tory because of how well he did against robby, and he didn't land a single point and yet the same logic is applied to devon and you're disagreeing with it, strange.

Silver paid off the ref in the final..I don't think he'll feel the need to pay for Tory to beat a newcomer like Devon
Silver told Tory that bribing the ref was "an insurance policy", and I'm guessing he planned to do so all along, just to make sure Cobra Kai won.
