Mr.Miyagi may have also started karate a lot younger than the cobra Kai teens and continuously trained until 18. He could have started at 6 or 7 even. All that said he is still one of if not the most talented

I don't agree that Miguel pre Injury was untalented or whatever. Yes It took him 3 months to get the basics down but once he really committed himself his skill started sky rocketing. But also True Miguel was never naturally talented It was mainly his mentality and hard work that got him where he was by the end of s2. So yes if your saying natural talent yes Miguel Isnt that great but If we are talking Improvement rate Miguel Is one of the best. For example Miguel at the end of S1 was evenly matched with a one handed injured robby but Miguel at the end of S2 was able to overpower and defeat S2 Robby meaning Miguel showed more progress In S2 than robby Due to him not only closing the gap between the 2 but becoming slightly better. Imo Daniel is number 2 specifically the karate kid trilogy because he trained less than s2 Robby actually while it took robby more time to learn it. The reason for this is daniels reflexes mostly which came in comparison to mr miyagi from his fly feat. What makes him so powerful is that he gained like 3 resolve amps over the movies. If you think daniel had over a year of experience then you’re wrong because he spent between kk1 and kk2 with no training and kk3 was mostly him spending time with mr miyagi. Daniel also used the quicksilver against terry after like after over 30 years which he learned in a few days

I think they fought off screen during the coyote creek fight since tory got out and only miguel and hawk were left which means hawk probably beat her and also hawk alone changed the outcome of the house fight and he beat robby who scales higher than tory by a lot
In my opinion, Shawn doesn't deserve to be on this list. I can't stand when people use Shawn's first fight against Robby as a way to scale Shawn when he had backup and Robby wasn't trying to fight back and was mentally nerfed. If Robby was balanced and fought Shawn on a 1v1, Robby would have won using Miyagi-Do. In the second fight, Robby mostly had the upper hand throughout the fight, even at the end when he was about to start pummeling Shawn on the ground, started smiling when he was restrained and gained Shawn's respect after the beating he gave. People that scale Shawn use his physical capabilities as an excuse to compare him to top-tier Season 4 and Season 5 characters when I think S2 Miguel, Prime S2 Robby, S3 Hawk, and, S3 Sam can beat Shawn. Shawn is an overrated fighter in my opinion and people think too highly of him.
