Turins usual base building in AOE4 gives me anxiety that it will flow like spice into his base building in Manor Lords lol
I like the idea of having this on the channel as a sort of recovery game every once in a while, after a tough week on the ol' hands.
I do hope he will stick with it. We all know how much PvE games tend to lose him.
ive started watching this game alot, and am so happy you picked it up
Its almost harvesting season!
I would like to see you try a run where you focus on high value artisanal trade with as small townhouse density as possible. Import all cheap grains etc and export high value items. See how dense you can build.
I tried some fun builds after learning the game, trade is so strong!
Wow so glad you're doing MANOR LORDS Turin!!
Why the all caps? Lmao
Cause it gets the people goin! No one knows why
So stoked ur doing a city builder. Know its not ur flavour and RTS is your thing, but I'm into it. Thanks again!
Always love seeing Turin dip a toe into different games! I know this is tricky when balancing channel visibility, but looking forward to more new games when you can sneak them in!
Cheers!
Lord Turin!
WE WANT MORE MANOR LORDS!
The music was so good that I didn't skip past the pre stream in the vod lol
IF this game gets multiplayer you might be able to play with Sparty! This seems like something he'd really be into
He really nailed it when he said this game is like therapy
Enjoyed it, would love to see again
Definitely do more of this, chill streams now and again are fantastic
Would love to see this again
This has been super entertaining, Turin. I appreciate the change of pace at how much more chill this is. Looking forward to more!
Life got too hextic to stay subbed but thanks for being my rts fix
Hahahah Turin is like a skaven trying to blend into a church of sigmar ceremony
4:10:37 I'd definitely watch another one! So many corpse pits yet to fill, such possibilities for signature ugly farms xD
Thanks! We were learning all the way!
Turin covering this hell yeah
Loved the stream! Another stream would be great at the higher difficulty!
Loved this. V chill. PvP sounds great too
Turin I'm not sure how but you deffo can spin the map, there's also a serious cinematic mode which is great for screenshots
Turin you were so rushed in the beginning xD
can you just imagine this game as 4 player FFA I mean holy hell
Manor Lords, fuck yeah
Honestly made me want to join the stream and hang. I get all my rts gameplay from TH-cam.
But was cool to see ya chill and hang with community.
Really hope this game gets multiple sooner than later.
Honestly my dream for it is it being high macro dune with a political system and total war style armies.
It's just starting off by 1 guy mostly so even just some pvp I would be happy
Would love to see more, even though the Singleplayer in me cries everytime I have to see you use those multiplayer building placements. Also, I think you went way too hard into oxen. They only carry timber, and I don't think the lumberjacks ever produced enough for your 4 oxen to be necessary. Other than that, start off with more burgage plots to quickly attract new families. In the Alpha I liked to put down 6-7 houses right at the start, so there's room to grow beyond the 5 starting families
Hell yeah manor lords
I really liked the game and the stream hope you play again and make It a series. Also waiting for PVP update
stream it again
Anybody know the song in the intro? Shazam cant find it and im obssesed >.
Turin you gotta try beyond all reason, its free to play
Grind in preparation, dip in salt solution
Cannot stop the tan-ner-y
Let the peasants feast!
Can’t wait to see this in multiplayer, it has so much potential to be a more methodical AOE
I think it would be very snowbally. The game has a pretty central mechanic that when you go to war, and take casualties, that is actually a loss of a very scarce resource, the workers of your village. so if you lose an early fight, you are crippled economically, whereas in contrast, you basically have catchup mechanics in spice wars, due to the very high upkeep costs of armies.
Also, this is a one man dev studio that took 7 years to get to this point. So major reworks to make the game more pvp friendly may be slow in coming. I haven't heard if he intends to staff up with his recent success.
For casual FFA it'd be awesome
Manor lords multiplayer?
The game seems to have a weird filter on it. It kinda always looks dark to me.
I thought it would be more of a crossover between banished and mount and blade? I recall getting pretty hyped about the game about a year ago, but now all I see is another medieval peasant simulator.
What do you mean spice wars died in the dark?
Severs went down
You said Dune spice wars died in the dark?
Sever management
@spenraw makes sense, thanks!
