"Tyranno, you can't just put every peice of media featuring lesbians in a list and call it best of the year." Tyranno: "...I mean Zag and Than aren't lesbians..."
Hi, Tyranno, I love you. Also we're both in the same "Don't like horror but think The Thing is really cool" boat, haha. I love the edits in the manga section, that shit isn't easy to make visually interesting.
This was a neat video hearing your thoughts on media other than anime! You should do your favorite media videos every month! And talk about more movies and TV too
every month would be a bit much, but as i shall soon be unshackled from the duty of regular precure, i'm hoping i'll be able to make more videos about non-anime stuff this year!
Steven Universe is basically a mix of my faves of anime influenced toons and also all the soulful slice of life stuff of shows like Adventure Time. I really adore the show so it's always nice to see a positive review, especially on that fantastic last season
I got a lot of enjoyment out of SU, but between the frustratingly dragged out release schedule and the, imo bad ending. You had the energy to watch the epilogue series. Like I wasn't even really enjoying SU towards the end, I just wanted to see the end of the narrative they'd setup around the diamonds.
Did I just kill Trump & 2020 in one hit? Wow. Reasonable take on The Last of Us 2. You explained why you liked it but acknowledged that it has flaws. The only part I had any kind of problem with was the implication that everyone who considers Abby's muscles unrealistic is a bigot. I've been wanting more muscular women in games for a long time but the context seemingly goes out of its way to make Abby's muscles unrealistic & the game is supposed to be realistic. Maybe you could point out an example of an extremely malnourished woman who was somehow so muscular without access to steroids or a lifestyle conducive to such musculature but that would only prove that people were wrong, not that they were prejudiced. I love I'm Not Okay With This. Sad to hear it got cancelled. Steven Universe: Future usually gets more criticism than I think it deserves. The worst I can say is that it started out a little slow & predictable & the diamonds were bad as usual but I really liked where it went. I expected them to ruin Jasper's characterization but they actually just built on what was already there.
I forgot how nice the last of us actually was. Maybe because I didn't play it myself, so I was only going trough the narrative of the walkthrough I was watching. But it was impactful and suited the ending of the first one. ...And I cried...so much...
I tried commenting but the comment disappeared when I tried to post it. Did TH-cam delete it or is it awaiting your approval? I ask because I never know which one is the case when a comment disappears but I don't wanna waste time rewording it to make it show up if it's actually just awaiting approval. In hindsight, I did open up with a joke that probably triggered some kind of flag.

For a second when this pop up on my notification, I thought I was watching Super Eyepatch Wolf

oh yeah, the manga bit was definitely the most time consuming in the edit.
Kipo! So underrated!

I don't trust people who don't say "Bungerbungerbungerbunger" to themself in the Bunger voice. Bunger squad.
