This is amazing advice that should be taken into account. However, there is NO SUBSTITUTE for reading hundreds of scholarly articles; practice is essential just like with anything else

No doubt! I'll be using this as a solid guideline with the intention to progressively implement my own personal methods and techniques. I will be starting the professional level courses in Neuroscience this next semester and I'm anxious yet very excited. Very thankful for Dr. Kevin Jubbal's series of videos and newsletters.

This video is great! I just really wished that a video like this were present back before I blindly started on appraising research articles during my first year.

Hello! I’m a freshman at my local community college and it’s my dream to be a psychiatrist. For the next “So You Want To Be..” video could you possibly show the steps and explanation of becoming a psychiatrist? It would be much appreciated :)

Btw, at 12:38, you say "we failed to reject the null hypothesis even when it was true" when referring to a type I error. Considering the table is correct, I think you meant to just say we incorrectly reject the null hypothesis in a type I error. gr8 video tho

Another thank you to you! We have to read different abstract papers everyday and make our own sesearch paper out of it in 2 hours. It's so hard. Thanks so much for the tip.

Can you make a series on how to do research? E.g how to do lit reviews, statistical analysis, the common pitfalls and shortcuts? Thanks!

Hi! Could you please do a video about interventional radiology? I’m interested in it as a possible career path but cannot find out what specific types of surgeries/procedures they get involved in or how invasive these are. Thanks!

Great video, thank you for creating it! It's really spot on. Do you have any favorite books or sites (Other than the nerd safari) where I could deepen the knowledge on understanding research. There is a ton on statistics so that is covered but the various types of studies etc. Would be interesting in looking into those more deeply. Many thanks! :)

AIIMS would love to have Med School Insiders enter the Indian market through our annual festival if you're interested. There are plenty of students preparing for USMLE who are interested but unaware.

lol this video has a low viewer count. to me, it somewhat indicates how much people care about research. They just want it to look good on their app.
