This bike has trained my right leg well, the past few days. Past owner did seem to have overfilled the oil quite a bit, hopefully lowering the oil + starting drill will fix it !
I know im asking randomly but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Jesse Darwin Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
And if your yz250f 2002 don't have a de compression lever what would you then because I see alot of people talking about that but mined pretty easy to start but could be a valve adjustment or carby issue as the bike has no problems starting but won't stay idling.
If your 2002 hasn’t got a decomp lever then it means someone has removed the cable and/or replaced it with an auto decompression cam. Not idling is likely to be a blocked pilot jet, take carbs, clean thoroughly with carb cleaner and compressed air - even a microscopic blockage can cause idle Issues
Hmmm I tried this looks like obviously worked for you but mines been sitting to long and tbh I don't even know what's wrong with it but just got the carby re jetted and rebuilt and it's nearly starting but I can't quite get it but It seems to wok better for me when I don't have any choke out for again mentioning Iit won't even start anyways only gotten close gives me a work out though 😂 just kicking it
Hii, so I'm new to 4 strokes just got my first one, so the first thing was the start up on it, damn it's confusing I did get it to start few times but I'm SO confused, anyone care to PLEASE help me out? Please I really need it.
Lmao same, the thing a BITCH to start it’s like it only Starts when it wants to😂 But today I got it on the 3rd kick but pretty sure I needa rebuild the Carb cuz it was sitting for a while from Previous owner but I only been able to ride once so far tryna get my seat tkme on ut

Yep, when riding, wear the correct gear. In this instance I wasn’t out riding or about to go riding, just showing how to start the bike in the garage. But yes, lots easier and safer to start it with mx boots on. Also, I do have socks on - they’re just low cuff/no show 😄

Thanks for explaining the little lever next to the clutch....

this video is insanely helpful
Glad it helped you, took me a bit of research to find the correct process and just wanted to share
Thanks for the share. I just picked up one exactly like yours with same setup. Cheers 🍻

Make sure your valves are good
Yep, valve clearance needs to be spot on. Try a small pump of the throttle first perhaps if the jetting is on the leaner side
try bumping it
Clutch start works every time
@@godzilla3306 post a video about it lol
I clutch start mine works every time I very rarely use decoration lever
Ah yep, could do the old clutch pop, especially easy if you live on a hill.
Do you hold the compression lever in when kicking it over?
MotoMatt it’s a Decompression Lever
MotoMatt this videos for 01/02 models which has the decomp lever which sucks man

I thought there wasn’t a kick starter on the yz250f
This is a 2001 YZ250F, these were kickstart only
@@mrmatt1s ahh so what years don’t have kick starters

Best thing I did for starting my 02 250f, was selling it and buying a different bike.
This actually is fucking helpful xD
