@@MarcelianOnline I mean its fair to say that when people go back and watch the video later that they don't want to essentially watch a loading screen for 18min.
I wonder if a requirement like in delves where u have to do a 2 to get to a 3 and so on , if mplus could have a requirement where u have to a m2, to get to a m3 and up so the new player has to see content before they jump into a 7,8,9 ect.
Seems like a bit much tho I wouldn't want to do every dungeon on every level all the way up .. I did a little research before jumping in to the +2 and I jumped to a +4 on a few where I felt I knew the mechanics and did fine but it's just a steep learning curve on dungeons for people who do not watch guide videos and stuff
For me there's a weird tension in the game right now. The class designs are BY FAR the best they have ever been, and they've built a whole new system around playing alts. And yet it's harder than it's been in a while to "complete" even a single character, which is what I suspect most players want out of a season. I imagine the typical pretty dedicated PvE player probably does about enough content to fill their vault slots on one character. So roughly 8 dungeons per week and a raid clear, maybe some delves and world stuff for rep. That's a lot of stuff to do every week for 4 months. With the exception of mythic raiders, players will primarily be relying on the weekly vault to get their best gear to "finish" their character for the season. So with great luck and a few crafted slots, it'll take a whole season to complete one character. If you want to complete two, or three, or four, you have to put in nearly two, three or four times the time. The small discount in crests (and the dreaded valorstones) helps barely at all because every character is waiting for the vault if you want Myth stuff without Mythic raiding.* So the expansion that has gone hard on alt friendliness has also made it nearly impossible for the typical player to achieve their seasonal goals on more than one character (if even one!). What I expected from this season was to finish my main in like 4 weeks... And then go and do the same thing on 3 alts for the rest of the season. Because the raw classes are fun enough to make that appealing. But the gearing systems get in the way of that and make me barely want to pick up the game to finish my main at this point. I really hope they can nail this, I think the game is so close to being really awesome if they can just get the gearing situation right. *Its awful relying on Mythic raid for gearing, especially since the logistical challenge of getting exactly 20 players of the right type who can play nice is harder than just killing the bosses.
What if similarly to the catalyst they gave a bi-weekly token to upgrade an item from one track to the next. So every two weeks you could upgrade an item from Hero -> Myth track. Of course you'd still need to do the harder content to farm the crests to upgrade it along that track, but would prevent this issue where people are waiting on RNG for the vault to drop a mythic sacbrood to reach higher ilvl.
I feel like they're gatekeeping Myth track gear in TWW compared to DF. IN DF you got Myth track in vault on an 8 and crests on 6 (if I remember correctly) now you need 10 and 8. Getting Myth track for non Mythic raiders are once a week in the vault and making that higher in TWW make it take longer to reach that level to be able to get those 10's for the vault
For me, the only problem was that you need 10s to get myth track vault. It's a big jump from 9s. I don't mind any other keys, just make 9s the default for myth track vault. I got more myth track items from mythic raid , than coping with pugs to fill my mythic plus vault.
I don't really understand the ideea of a system where you could convert an item to a higher track. The idea seems weird and not wow like. So could I get an explorer track item from open world, then upgrade it step by step up to heroic over the course of the season? Does that mean gear wouldn't drop from higher level content, only upgrade items? How would this work for players who don't do open world? Would you get upgrade items and gear to accommodate both player types? How would you balance those two gearing paths? Would you have situation where open world item is BIS and competitive players feel the need to grind lower difficulty content and then grind upgrade? Would blizzard feel the need to address this by homogenizing items across content or making open world items (eg trinkets) worse than raid drops even at equivalent item levels? I'm just puzzled at the concept.
like they give an XP bonus the more max lvl chars you have. They should give a crest/valorstone reduction from how may chars you have that has made a certain Ilvl.
Mechanics in dungeons have become wild. What really gets me is the amount of interrupts that always need to happen. You can have 4 casts at a time going off with some mob packs. It's not pug friendly because my interrupts are ALWAYS getting clipped but someone else. You need to be in discord basically to do any real content.

Personally I think “top nasa level” should be included but it should only reward mounts, titles etc. top spec gear should be within reach of average players willing to grind for it.
There is zero reason to do anything higher than 10s, bring back DF where i could get myth gear drops in dungeons. I want to gear multiple characters and the vault system should be bad luck protection, not the only way.
10s are easy. The reason to do higher keys is to actually challenge yourself. It may not be what most people want to do, and that's fine, but that is the motivation for many players. What is the point in getting your character geared up if you aren't going to challenge yourself?
So what about the deplete system ? Basically most players can't play the game past 12 keys because either you are a DPS and you are drowned in the sea of pugs that have better gear or IO, or you play a tank or a healer but still have to wait 15-30 min between keys to find a group ( which will most likely deplete in the first 5 min ) and this is based on the fact that you have at least 630 ilvl and 2960-3000 io. People are so paranoid about depleting their key that i see some lobbies waiting for the '' one '' for maybe an hour, it's ridiculous. Just make the change that keys can't be depleted, you have to prog the fucking keys, it makes no sense at all to deplete them.
