I love your comment about it being a hobby in its own. So many tips I’m picking up will sure help pass the time of cold Wisconsin winter days. What a great way to create your tying materials while waiting on good weather. God bless.
i have right opposite problems. Its so hot here in the summer that I tie thru the summer and we fish for trout all winter. Its nice to keep it an active hobby all year.
Great ideas! I already use the coffee grinder for dubbing, and I'm on the lookout for a pasta machine. By adjusting the width of the pasta noodle cutters you can make wider foam strips and make bodies for hoppers and gurglers. To save a little money, you can search the thrift stores and get these items used.

Omg, genius idea with the pasta maker. Thank you so much, foam back shrimps are going to be sooo much easier.

Got a video on spinning foam? Thanks
In the works. I'm actually tying up some today so I'll try to post one this week.
What is the name brand of your pasta maker?
Atlas
I got a pasta maker and it wont cut all the way though the foam! I don’t see a way to adjust to cutter to make it thinner.
Hmm. I'll do some research. Mine cuts right thru with no problem. Have you tried on all the different sizes?
Well the coffee grinder doesn't work
Do these noodles taste funny? Nope!
Pretty high in fiber. Lol
