I keep going back to your videos over & over.not only do i love your style, i love the way you teach it. Your step by step method, your explaination of each color mix & your thought process as you do it. Your the first person to explain the advantage of using good paper in one of your videos that made sense. Thank you for all I'm learning.
In an age where everyone carries a camera in their pocket, we forget the marvel of an artist’s talent to interpret a scene and not copy the same. Great technique and style! Thank you for sharing.
Wow!! Love everything about this one. I need to do one similar for my granddaughter at college. Can't wait to apply your technique. In your location there is so much more inspiration and subject matter than I see in the suburbs of NJ😂 got to get out and travel more.
Thanks you! I love this style. I know you are Toby URBANsketch, but I'd love to see this style applied to nature landscapes. I'll keep looking on your channel for that, in case you have already done that!
Thanks; I have a dagger or two, but don't yet feel up to using them for that purpose; maybe later. Bought an inexpensive 3/8 in. = 10 mm flat, which seems like a good size for the 7X10 inch block I am using. Will try to get started tomorrow morning.
Absolutely, and thanks Sue :) On my website i've got a list - www.urbansketch.co.uk/supplies/watercolour-paints and a video here -- th-cam.com/video/OSUGhvmWKlA/w-d-xo.html&lc=Ugya8QhiUn-2ZR3VfYp4AaABAg

Excellent! Now to go rooting through my brushes to see if I have a flat that will serve.
Go for it! Dagger brushes or sword brushes also work very well :)

Love it! I’m trying to get looser so love your approach- I tend to get very architectural so lose the character that attracted me in the first place

Love this Toby....especially the watersoluble ink. Can you recommend a good water solube ink please?
I use Waterman Intense Black - it's nothing special, but it's reliable and it washes quite neutral.
@@TobySketchLoose Many thanks.....Just Ordered.....They do Brown too.....Great.....Have a nice Xmas.
May I ask what paints you are using? LOVE YOUR WORK
