The FN SCAR 15P is finally out- it's been nicknamed the baby scar. It is technically a pistol with a 7.5" barrel. Chambered in .223/.556 it is a monster. super small, super lightweight, potentially the ideal

I love this scar. Initially I picked up an sc stock but I don’t think I’ll be putting it on. I found a nice brace and adapter that makes it run amazing.

Does that Hogue grip leave a gap.!?? I got a BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 grip and it left a pretty big gap.

Any suppressor you add to a SCAR voids the warranty.

That’s not true. There were always specific brands of suppressors that you could add.
Specifically though, any suppressor is ok on the 15p

​@@pewpewdingers Read your owners manual where it says putting a suppressor on your SCAR voids the factory warranty. For being a gun tuber you don't know much about guns. If you don't believe me call FN and ask them. It is common knowledge among the SCAR community.

It's a pistol with a brace and your gonna SBR it just fill out the amnesty registration and save 200 bucks

Braces are trash, it’s just a work around for areas that don’t allow SBRs. Lastly, did you see how the gun was bouncing against his shoulder, yeah that’s the brace’s biggest inherent weakness

@556ChannelHD that's not what I'm talking about they just made braced pistols illegal active in 120 days the ATF is doing an amnesty registration no 200 dollar tax since it's already a braced pistol it would qualify since he already wants it too be an SBR . You still have too register an SBR I was just suggesting a work around too save the money

Why did you go to your local gun shop to get the tax stamp? It's a Form 1. They don't have anything to do with it. Were they just helping you through the process?

Yeah the owner is a good friend and they help fill it out correctly, nothing crazy but so many people don’t know how or where to begin so I always push them towards their local gun shops. Helps when they have finger print machines and a $20 fee isn’t bad for the help.

Yeah I’ll bet that it won’t stick. Impossible to regulate since they aren’t stamped or have serial numbers. They will have new loopholes for pistol braces and it will take a year to in-force.
