You mentioned the glide of the 180hax being better than the 170ha, but how do you compare the low end (stall speed and getting up flying) 170 vs 180. Does the 170 have any advantages or is the 180 better in every way?

I would say 180 is better in every way. The glide is the main difference. Really low stall speed too. The width is wider. Would breach wing tips sooner. That could be good or bad. Might be less top end but I think would be very close. Also if ur on that wing, top end is not what ur looking for.

Awesome! How much to you weigh? I'm considering either the 180HAX or 220HAX. I'm around 80Kilos / 175lbs. Yew!

Thanks man!! I’m 170 lbs. Also in fresh water, plus wetsuit. So maybe around 180 all suited up. I’m in Mexico right now, in salt water. And it’s a noticeable difference with board and volume. I’m really liking that 180. Amazing low end, and still surfy with short fuse…. Obviously the 220 is going to get you up faster

Hey man - I have just got the 180 HAX and have that same Armstrong DW board (a bit longer). Where'd you like the foil in the box for small stuff like that day?
    Thx!

Thanks for the insights. I had the 170, 120, and 90HA. Sold the 170, but want another foil for those small days. Seems like the 180 might fit the need.

Glide on it is definitely impressive. Turning on the 180 compared to 170 would be only downside. But compared to other wings that size turns quite well. Lift does an awesome job maintaining the surf feel.

I just put my 180 HAX to the test on waist high bumps on the efoil. It was a blast.. I think it’s going to replacing my 200 HA 👍👍

Hey Bro! Little bit of both. On my phone i use GoPro app. With the Computer use wondershare filmora. So far so good, but it’s the only one I have used. So I can’t compare. Thought about using the adobe one. Just don’t want to have to learn new program….
