Today we visited the Cai Dai 1950's Museum in Denbigh, North Wales, so much to see, really enjoyed it. Well worth a visit! Thank you to the staff for being so kind.
great video, Paul and nice soundtrack. certainly a trip down memory lane. i noticed an old TV which we had when i was young and also a dansette record player. you scrubbed up quite well and look very dapper! cheers.
Nicely done, very interesting place. So much history there, amazing. Seeing some of that makes me realize my age, thanks Paul. Mrs H did a good job of filming, thanks. You folks enjoy!
What a magnificent museum! Loved how Mrs H filmed every bit in detail, showing us the singularities of life and the main stories that covered the newspapers of those days, and even the shaving-related gear. Very rich and diverse museum. I wish I was close so I could visit myself.
Lovely video again. Well done both. I'm very familiar with or remember a lot of what was in the little museum. Memories of growing up. Grandparents and parents houses. Blast from the past. Thanks again. 🏴👍
Superb Paul, excellent job by your goodself and Mrs H. Lots of nostalgia has been prodded ... I am going to have to go just to examine each and every one of those 78s :o)
Thank you so much for this video. That museum has a bit of everything from cars to clothes to barbering items. Mrs. H looked lovely in her red dress. Thank you for sharing this experience with all of us.
Started working here back in 2012 I think it was worked there voluntary for a good few years changed so much now will have to take myself back up there to have a nosey
We once owned a 1981 Ford Fiesta in the US. Great little car. Only came with a manual gearbox, but it was a great little Ford (until it stranded my wife at work and we traded). Thanks for sharing this. It is kind of a Baby Boomer's dream of days gone by. Glad someone collected it
I pass the entrance to that every month on my way to Sharon, always wondered what it was like. I wasn’t sure if it was still open, it’s a bit out of the way. Great video. 👍
The model in the red dress had a striking resemblance to the lovely Mrs.H. But not nearly as attractive, in my opinion. Thnx for what you do, your friend from the parched Great Plains. Fred H.
Mrs H looking very glam, Mr H looking very smart, the mannequins looking very spooky. Surprised they had so much shaving gear. (The museum not the Mannequins)
Looking very smart there Mr H 👍
Looking forward to seeing this one
Good morning Paul and thank you for taking me back in time. I love these old things.
