I've owned mine for 21 years. It has 60k miles on it and runs like it did when I bought it. I love it just as much now as I ever did. One of the best looking bikes ever made!
I love these bikes. I was this 👌 close to buying one, but I bought a z1000 instead. Always regretted that decision . These bikes are one of the best looking motorcycles ever made, imho. I had a D & D on my Gixxer and everyone always commented on that pipe.
I almost bought a new 05 model in 07. Z1000. Then I read about the vibration. It was left over and discounted down to $5500. It was tempting and looked good.
I've just managed to get one of these in a "Once in lifetime" deal, well used condition, 60k, has a bad front calliper, in these colours, full exhaust, tons of upgrades including a blue flame system and stage 3 dynojet, starts on the button, buying it from the mechanic who's worked on it for the last 12 years (I'm friends with him) needs cosmetic attention,,,,,, £1800 ($2400).... EDIT - Just to add I'm a paint and body guy lol
Billy is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to these gorgeous bikes. I've always loved these bikes, and i highly regret never buying one, as well as selling my 2007 honda 919 hornet. When I would crack down on the throttle, wide open, on the 919 hornet, leaning over the handlebars, while covering the rear brake....that bike was like a giant slingshot. Took me quite a few years of riding that bike, to get comfortable enough, so I felt safe doing that. I never allow myself to ride above my skill level. I love those D&D pipes, and love their exhaust notes. It truly sucks that the company closed down.
My first new street bike was a GPZ 550... And when these beasts came out, I started kicking rocks. Became a father and sold my GPZ. I wanted one for the last 30 years
I like how everyone says that about these bikes. I got a zrx1200 and you get older guys saying "i had that bike when I was young". They didn't make this when you were young but shows how good of a replica it is
First bike I ever rode on street was buddies 97 zx1100 Ninja. I remember first time I cracked throtttle and shifted 2nd then 3rd and thats all I needed. Shook for half hour after getting off
I've owned 2 1100's a 99 and now a 2000 with 14,000 miles with a full acropovic exhaust. My 99 had a full d&d with the same muffler on the bike in video and it screamed.
I had a silver 2004 1200 model, brand new. Loved it. Definitely should've never sold it. What an absolute beast on the street. Gobs of torque. The green one is the color to have though.
I bought one when they first came out. Put a set of Muzzy ZX11 speck cams,a jet kit,Muzzy ignition advancer, and a Muzzy titanium exhaust with carbon muffler. Bumped horsepower to 136 at the rear wheel.
I found one of these in the back of a garage in Bude UK, I paid £3750 for it for my first big bike. I don't think I'll ever sell it. I ride it everyday and still absolutely love it. Mines Purple with gold badges and gold wheels 🤙🏻🤙🏻
In 2000 I test rode this beast and loved it, but bought the Zuki Bandit instead based on about $22 dollars less in the monthly. Never got over that ridiculous decision🤭
I don't care, call me what you will, it just seems like more older bikes just have more soul than the new stuff. There's a few modern legendary bikes, yeah, but there's more of them from this era. And listen to that SOUND 😍😍
This is the first liter bike I ever rode and was very surprised how civil or maniacal it be and I looked for one in 06 for a decent price so I got a gsxr
Crazy low mileage. Mine had over 40k km on it when i sold it after 3 years of owning it. Great but but I replaced it with a vstrom for comfier touring.
In case I missed it, what was the horsepower of this bike? 0-60 and 1/4mile and top speed? I love those graphics and the look. Just wish it had full wind protection but then it would look like doodoo
High quality video content! I have another question: someone transferred me some usdt and I have recovery phrases. [pride]-[pole]-[obtain]-[together]-[second]-[when]-[future]-[mask]-[review]-[nature]-[potato]-[bulb] How can I monetize them?

I found an 05 with low miles. Awesome bike and the green is crazy in the sun. Perfect bike.
Love old Kawis.Bill ran the Isle of Man three times! Omg...
My grandpa bought one brand new the year I was born 1999. And it’s super clean

Modern? 🤣 We're old fella. That's considered a classic now
😂
Papaw has a 2000 ZRX with 1100mi in his garage. Still has stickers on the gauges. I can’t wait to ride it
A good friend of mine’s father had the model from 1980’s. It was such a cool looking bike, and it sounded great too. I believe he still has it.
I like how everyone says that about these bikes. I got a zrx1200 and you get older guys saying "i had that bike when I was young". They didn't make this when you were young but shows how good of a replica it is
dont forget the 1996 gpz1100

Had one for years, wish I still had it, unfortunately too old. Loved mine.
Love the early 80's style.
I think this is the most beautiful motorcycle.
I had a silver 2004 1200 model, brand new. Loved it. Definitely should've never sold it. What an absolute beast on the street. Gobs of torque. The green one is the color to have though.
That bike is a master piece.
Billy is a real interesting guy, Ken. It’s good to hear from him. Beautiful Kawi. You guys have been posting up with some nice street bikes lately.

Got a 2001 1200r
This is the first liter bike I ever rode and was very surprised how civil or maniacal it be and I looked for one in 06 for a decent price so I got a gsxr
I had one of these for a demo when I worked at a Kawasaki dealer. Probably about the only japanese bike I would want these days.
Im green with envy.
This was my first bike when I was 18.. inbought it in 2008 i sold it in 2010 for 4500.... wish id kept it
What's the asking price, I really want to send it to James Compton 😊
A big kwaka can rotate the earth since the 70s
Crazy low mileage. Mine had over 40k km on it when i sold it after 3 years of owning it. Great but but I replaced it with a vstrom for comfier touring.
Great vid. These things howl when you pull the trigger. I would never sell mine. Regards from Yorkshire England.

Let me know if you come across a 95-97 GPZ. I had a D&D on mine. Beast of a bike.
This looks like the same bike you sold 4 years ago!
In case I missed it, what was the horsepower of this bike? 0-60 and 1/4mile and top speed? I love those graphics and the look. Just wish it had full wind protection but then it would look like doodoo
Never rode one but I just know I want one hahaha
Looks as fast or faster than the TZ750 down the road
Would this be and ideal starter bike 👀
No, pretty top heavy. But just get one and take it slow
Beautiful
No clacking whatsoever from the shims underneath the valve buckets
I’m in love😮
