Thank you for the video! Does the controls in the home app allow to control the AC's temperature, and to keep track of the changes to the unit (when it's turned off by the manufacturer's controller, or when the temperature in changed with that controller)?
Hi, yes you can change the target temperature and the different modes in Apple Home (Off, Cool, Heat). Unfortunately, it can’t sync with the original AC remote.
The down side I can’t use this lock in the UK the locks are different next year I am changing my front door to make it deadbolt like the American doors it’s not going to be cheap the one a can use is the Yale lock I don’t like it

They make a version for Eurocylinders, which many UK homes use, but if you have a door with a latch lock, it won’t work of course.
