Can it be connected to Home Assistant and work routinely with other devices such as Heiman ZigBee gas and smoke leak sensors and some Sonoff ZigBee water leak detector products?
@@thomasjefferson3552 it has to be connected to HomeKit via an Aqara hub, but this accessory isn’t listed on the US accessories server, so you might struggle to get it added. It’s not certified for US use either, so if there was a fire, you might void any insurance claim.

You say the valve and smoke detector is Matter compatible, but the water sensors aren’t. Whenever I try to setup my aqara as Matter, the leak sensors won’t appear. (Unless this has changed in the past year)
@@Wolfsbane1974 correct, I never said the water leak sensors were matter compatible, however. In the Aqara ecosystem, both the leak sensor and valve controller can still work together, in Apple Home you would have to have the leak sensor connected via a hub using the Apple Home integration, then even if the Valve controller is added via a hub using Matter, you can still use the two together in automations.

@@AmanSingh-us7bc what you can do is set up an automation that when an Aqara button or switch is pressed (or you simply trigger the automation in the app), it mutes the siren, then waits for an hour before unmuting the alarm. No jokes with Aqara, they are the best.
If you have multiple smoke detectors can they be linked to all sound if only one detects smoke?
@@mikeward1701 yes, they can indeed.
yes, smoke and gas detectors can do it via aqara app
Strange that it doesn’t show up as a valve in HomeKit. I would prefer that.

I don’t use Home Assistant, so I can’t answer for sure, but nearly all newer Aqara are compatible with HA, so it’s quite likely they are.
Can you create an automatization to turn on the siren when your aqara door sensor is open?
No, there isn’t an option for that.
@ ok thanks for the info!
@ you can, however, trigger the siren on the Aqara hubs, when the Smoker sensor goes off.
