Wow! Everything looks so beautiful! I was a teacher for 33 years. It warms my heart to see Benjamin with his pencil and tablet. I can tell he is going to make you proud with his school work. You and Aaron have provided the perfect backdrop for creativity, joy, and learning for your precious children. You have done as much for teaching good parenting as you have for teaching gardening. You should both be proud.

Curious if you’re plane tree holds onto some leaves all winter? And does it lose chunks of bark in the summer? and does it have seed pods? It drops in the fall? My tree does and I’m wondering if it is a plane tree or not. The leaves do look like the tree Laura planted today.

My next door neighbor has one. I don’t think hers holds on to the leaves. They’re all over my lawn in the fall. It has capsules or nuts, not seed pods, and the bark is multi coloured and is always shedding bits and pieces. That’s the nature of the tree.

You might consider spraying your water boxes with some insect spray as per the applicating states to prevent the black widows from making homes in them. It would be worth the prevention instead of a trip to the hospital. We live out in the country and started spraying our mailbox to control the spiders. I got tired of spiders running out at me when I took the mail out of the box. Very nice mix-up in this video.

That Plane Tree will be beautiful when it grows up. I have one I planted 32 years ago. It's the only shade I have in my backyard (zone 7 hot and humid). When I first planted it I thought there was something wrong with it because the bark was peeling off ( before I knew anything about gardening and trees). It sheds in July, kinda messy, but the tree has such a smooth surface. In my area it's the first tree to loose it's leaves. I love my Plane Tree!

Laura, I have now been using BioTone for a couple of years after watching your videos. It truly is a game changer. Probably one of the best best products I have ever purchased. It has been a game changer in starting plants and seeds.

Your cut flower garden is gorgeous and the foxgloves next to the wheat was a beautiful site to soak in this morning! You bought the tall tree!!! I have a full grown tree just like that in my front yard and the leaves are the size of dinner plates! I can't wait to see your tree grow. God Bless you and your sweet family.

Laura made a comment a while back that floral arranging is something she enjoys more when done privately. It's kind of her down-time project. Not that she won't do one publically, but she forewarned ahead of time that it would be a rare appearance.

Who knew Aaron was such a philosopher. "Plant it high and it won't die. Plant it low and it won't grow! Good one Aaron. I'll always remember that advice. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you.

I just love our London Plane trees. We have a lawn with four of them and they grew so fast and just look so beautiful. We planted them at the same size you have and ten years later they are 40+ feet. They do seem to thrive on a lot of water.

With leaves that broad you’d think water is what they need to keeping it growing. If the leaves get stunted for the next growing season that would be the indicator that more water is necessary.

Fabulous! Is anybody else noticing the amount of redish colored flowers creeping into the garden as the years go by? 😂❤ I remember way back when she cringed at the thought of red. We grow with our gardens.

I live in KY, zone 6, and sycamores are very common around here, they grow along river banks all over the countryside. They're beautiful and they grow fast! They do require a lot of water but 100% worth it.
