Still speechless.... I watch this vid overnight I'm building my ax10 to be scale got my tires and body. Fabbed up my own rock sliders now working on getting a scale frame probably gonna go with the scx10 frame since most my opponents are the same just ready to get rid of the ax10 frame lol need more scale!!!!!!
@Ronh83 yeah the shocks are stock, the slow motion really brings out the suspension details.. i think it really adds to the realism.

@wiseman1907 the bumper lights were some left overs from the axial kit, and the roof top ones were make to accept lights. but the front head lights were from RamRc . com and they come with light buckets. square ones.
@FireballGER Fully agree. I have a 2.2 Axial AX10 scaler but this video gave me the extra push i needed to get a proper SCX10 1.9 scaler

@simonz28 these trucks are always under construction and "always being tuned" and at first it used to always break, but now that i know more about the truck, and its weak points, i have finally settled on a set up that doesnt break and is "rock solid," it just takes a while to work out the bugs, but when you do.. ur set.. just keep testing and it will be solid!
@VolvoAll3 the truck is pretty heavy, and i have the springs loose as in "completely expanded" which makes the truck sit kinda saggy and at mid shock, but other than that, its the slow motion that makes it look so real.. we get to see the suspension's full slow movement.

@DachoMaz its called the axial scx10 and they start at 250 and go to 350 depends on the version, and your local hobby store, or internet
@01yz80 the scx10 is a great truck, plus theres so many aftermarket products for it, i recenlty sold this truck on ebay, and im rebuilding the silver hilux, i just got my first cc01, not as capable as the scx10 but the body im putting on it is a lr3, stay tunned for that.
i saw this on facebook and this truck inspires me so much im in love with it! this is the best video of these scale rc's on youtube. great job

@camaross92 yeah! my favorite parts, are when the truck hits the camera,, they were all accidental.. but once i saw them.. i was like.. this will look great in the final cut.. and now its my favorite shots

@Ronh83 oh yeah, around the 4:00 min mark in this video i scale a real lose and sandy edge, the motor is fast, but i have a 2.4ghz futaba 3pmx, it lets me dial the "end point adjustment" for the throttle, so for sticky situations, full throttle will be a snails pace.. if anyone is still using the old fm transmitters, that are glitchy,, its gonna be hard.

@rcBitz yeah its the 720p 60fps setting.. i use adobe cs5 its super fast with its multicore abilities, and i right click on the video and set speed to 50% and poof.. awesome slow motion footage..

@MattS6993 It's becouse it looks so real. I do understand your point. To a person who is not into RC it looks like a toy you could buy at any Toys R Us. But it is so far from that. To actually make this rig happen took over $500+ dollars and hours of time. If you buy a Losi Micro Trekker for $150 you will know what I am talking about. It will be a cheap safe way to buy a ready to drive crawler that is very well made. If you have more money that try the Axail Wraith $365.

@mattmcdaniel11 i think im the biggest fan of the videos.. when the action goes with the music.. everything is just better.. its hard to describe.. it involves the audience more i guess.. when the music explodes.. so does the action on the screen.. thats what keeps me coming back :)

@jonasduffy1 yeah, well it depends on what you want to do. a scale "realistic" crawler or a performance based rig. Axial racing is about to release their newest creation called the "Wraith" you might want to wait for that. i know im going to get one, they look great. keep me posted on what ya do

@juozuik21 55turn is very common motor for rock crawlers, its slow and very torquey, so its good for very precise driving, which is great for rocks and tricky crawls, but is too slow for other terrain, like lose dirt, and sand, and 35t is faster, so u get the best of both worlds, i currently have 27turn motors in all my crawlers. they are fine, and look great on camera, kicking up dirt.

I could not for the life of me pick wraith or scx10 untill this video i was sold scx10 all the way awsome video should make them for axial
@gifts216 i updated the link with a similar version esc combo, but the do sell the esc, by its self, and any motor will do, i currently use tha axial 27t motor in both my trucks, plus there only like 12 bucks if they break down, but the nice esc by its self is still like 94 bucks,

Sick video! Love the little touches on your truck, like the lead rope wrapped around the bumper. And considering the Commanche body, that busted left mirror is about as "scale" as you can get. Never seen a Commanche that had both mirrors...

@MattS6993 thats an honest question matt, the short answer is = this video is unique because its the only one like this, aka a music video, all of these people have seen ALL the other rc videos out there, and mine offers them something new and exciting, only a true RC fan really can appreciates that, just watch all of the other rc videos out there and then come back to mine and you will see, i hope this answer was honest enough.. have fun buddy!

Man, the original scx10 was very stout and strong. I loved this video and I'm glad I can still watch it from time to time. I'm wondering if you would actually do the same style video with the new scx6 even though you have moved on from RC quite a bit. It would be interesting.

Rattymac the best crawler for £250 is the scx10 trail honcho rtr or the scx10 dingo kit. They are exactly the same except the dingo is shorter wheelbase and a kit and has a different body
