Even the "good" cops are spending their days harassing, abusing and extorting money from the citizens that they contact. They lie and steal to fill their quotas, accuse and abuse people that broke no laws and committed no traffic violations... or at the very least, they exercised their Right to travel in a way that the cops didn't like, so they have to be abused and have their money stolen. The situation with the police and the mayor is outrageous. They’ve clearly broken multiple laws. First off, everyone has the right to free speech, especially in a board room. The cops have no authority to interrupt your recording; that’s another violation. As an American citizen, you have rights that can’t just be ignored. They treat you like you’re some kind of visitor, but you’re not. You’re a citizen, and your rights should be respected just as much as anyone else’s, including that ridiculous mayor.

Consequently, he knew Russian and Mandarin better than his native Korean.
Unlike his son, who could speak Korean with confidence, Kim Il Sung needed a script to read off his speeches.
