- WOW, had the best time in Montenegro! Another country ticked off the list and it was SUCH an amazing one ✨
This is one of the most UNDERRATED countries ever, it is so beautiful!
We spent 4 nights there, which was a lovely amount of time, but definitely could have stayed longer

1. can we a taxi via Tesla go from airport to our bnb which seems like 15 minutes away ? how much would a airport taxi cost for that 15 min drive ?
2.that menu by the pool seemed a bit expensve , comapred to usual beer or wine rates i ve seen on the net , so i guess thats a high end poolside restraunt ?
3. how do i get to the cable car ? whats the name of the place it starts from ?

We got a taxi from Tivat to Kotor which is about 15 minutes drive. There are lots of people offering taxis when you leave the airport and they will try to charge a higher rate, so don’t go with the first option if it’s super high.
Our Airbnb host told us that 30€ was a reasonable rate to accept and not pay above this.
Yes, the beach club had higher prices than other restaurants and bars, because of the views and the Buddha Bar name, but in my opinion a lot more affordable than places such as Marbella/Ibiza that have similar venues. Restaurants and bars are affordable in general 😊
It’s called Kotor Cable Car, so you can book a taxi to there. If you search it on Google or maps then you’ll find it 😊

How much you spent for the food and drinks pls also the €40 for the boat is it for per person?
Hey, the boat was 40€ per person, you may be able to find it for 30€ if you have a look around! 😊 there’s some affordable restaurants around, you can go cheaper or more fancy, there’s a variety! I’d say Kotor is cheaper than Budva, Tivat and Porto in terms of restaurants etc 😊 the cable car is 23€ per person too if you were looking to do that!

Nice vlog! Im am going to Tivat in august but would like to visit kotor for one or two days. Im just wondering how did you get between kotor and Tivat was it Taxi or something else?
So glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching! So when we flew into Tivat we got a taxi from the airport to Kotor. When we visited Porto Montenegro (which is in Tivat), we also got a taxi. There are also buses that run between Kotor, Tivat and Budva.
We did get the bus to Budva and it was affordable, the taxis can be a little more on the pricey side (I think because there aren't LOADS of them) and they don't use Uber or other taxi apps either.

@@zylian1425 yes the bus was cash only and 99% sure all taxis were cash only too! Definitely take mostly cash or all cash because some restaurants, etc are cash only too! 😀😊

Hey, so glad you enjoyed! Thank you for watching 😍 Mains were around 9€ - 12€ in most restaurants, sometimes even cheaper! The rooftop restaurant pizza was around 10€ and cocktails were 10€ too which I thought was great considering the view. The beach club prices were also reasonable, cocktails were 10€ - 12€ and beer 5€
Beer elsewhere was around 3€ - 4€ and coffee was around 2€ - 3€ (so definitely cheaper than London and other places in UK)
You can also find some lovely airbnbs for a great price! Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

@@romyschneider9696 it’s called Kotor Cable Car, I think you have to get there by taxi or driving, not sure if a bus goes there. The fortress is closed to Kotor Old Town, you can do a hike to it! We would have done this if we had more time 😊 I’d say the fortress is a similar view to the cable car, just not as high up!

Coffee is around 2€/3€ most places. Cocktails are around 6€-8€ on average. Beer is around 3€, soft drinks are around 2€. Supermarkets are very affordable. Meals in restaurants are around 7€-15€ depending on where you go ☺️
Taxis are the only thing I found to be quite pricey, because there aren’t many of them! Try and walk or get buses as much as you can if you’re trying to keep prices down 🫶

We are staying close to budva old town so nice to know we cam make a day out of exploring there. That pool club you went to looked amazing. Do they charge per person or do you think they would let me pay for 2 sunbeds as they are very pricey and my little one would be in the pool the whole time. I'm travelling with my 17yo and 11yo💗

I’m pretty sure entry and use of the pool is free and then you can just pay for whichever sun beds you’d like! You can spend the whole day there too, so nice to relax. We got there for when it opened and were the first ones there and was lovely to enjoy when it was quiet ☺️
