  • Leftover Rice Vathal Recipe (Rice Vadam or Rice Papad)
    Ingredients:
    2 cups leftover cooked rice (cooled)
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp cumin seeds
    1/4 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
    Ghee or oil for frying
    Instructions:
    1. Mix rice, water, salt, baking soda, cumin seeds, and sesame seeds (if using) in a bowl.
    2. Knead until mixture forms a smooth dough.
    3. Divide dough into small balls (about 1 inch diameter).
    4. Flatten each ball into a thin circle (about 1/8 inch thick).
    5. Dry flattened
