Kevin Taylor Fires Tracy...Health Minister admits they could have done better with the containers.

Tracy asserted that Ghana Port was sold by Mahama secretly for which reason containers having medications in them were left for over a year at the port.
Health Minister admitted on Metro TV they as a ministry could have done better if leadership was right with the containers.
Kevin Taylor then descended on Tracy for throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians on Twitter.

Though it's not right to justify the ministry inability to clear the medical items at the port. But is it true that the Tema port, which is the country's main port, has been sold? If that's true, then I think people must be questioned as to how that happened.

The countries main port is not sold. It is a contract called BOT, Build Operate, Transfer.
It’s a way government of a country all over the world use to develop major infrastructure around the country.
Some infrastructures are very capital intensive and would cost the government so much to build by its self, hence those infrastructures are contracted to private investors, they construct it, operate it over the contractual period, recoup their investment and then it is transferred back to the government.
That’s the contract Tema Port was signed into to a company called MPS.

Nobody sold Tema port.
There are different terminals at the Tema port. One of them is MPS.
1. Nana Addo appointed the MD and board of Tema port because it belongs to Ghana.
2. All import duties at the Tema port are paid into GRA account under MoF. No private person owns or charges import duty at the port.
Tracy is a tribal bigot. She is very ignorant.

It is sold out simple. If not so then when you a land don"t say you bought because the indenture has a expire date too. Business are dying because of this bad deal and yet Tailor who has never import anything before is prasing him. May Mahama happen to you anything you decide to do buiness

@graceasante9958 It is never true that the Tema port was sold. Even if you want to believe that, then it was Kuffour who sold it. Becos, Kuffour was the one who brought them to Tema port to start working there.
1. Nana Addo appointed the MD and Board of Tema port. Why? Becos it belongs to Ghana.
2. It is only the gvt of Ghana that is permitted by law to impose taxes at the port. Nobody can charge tax in Ghana. Learn this.
3. All import duties at the Tema port are paid into GRA a/c under MoF & belongs to the gvt.
Try and import an item and see which account you will pay the duty to? It is the gvt of Ghana, not anybody else.

cause i have seen videos of Nana Addo Commissioning the second Phase of the terminal 3 Project which was bult by MPS.

If the port is sold indeed, what’s the 35 years you are talking about here?
Who brought the MPS in the first place? Kufour did. So who would you say sold it if at all it’s sold?
