    Hello from a fellow "maximalist" who loves thrifting artwork (and other beautiful treasures)! These are great ideas. My walls aren't filled up YET, but I'll keep these ideas in mind! Thanks for sharing!

    It looks as though the artist painted onto the canvas without prepping the canvas back. So her paint layers are all that is on the canvas.
    Its very pretty back lighted. The light wouldn't have shone through giving it that translucent glow.

      ​@@laneka74I wanted to add further that your wall colors are great! Years ago I painted my apartment walls deep blue. Then I painted all the picture frames a shiny ice white. Loved it. Dark colors DO NOT make a room look s all. (I think that's an 80's thing). 😊
