Greetings from South Dakota and also a new subscriber. I own a Victory Vision Tour. I am 4 inches taller than you and weigh about 280 pounds. I will be 69 in a few months. As I get older the GW DCT becomes more appealing. Since I drive a Tractor-Trailer, chucking a clutch would be a break. Outside of changing an air filter, which is easy on the Vision, the GW is an easy to maintain motorcycle. It also has the moving windshield. Other nice features such as creeper forward and reverse as well as hill hold are also a plus as we age. If you can only own one motorcycle and need something as much at home in the city as on the interstate, the GW is it. It could well be my next motorcycle. I look forward to watching your past and future content. Indian and H-D could learn a lot from Honda. God Bless!

Soul Fuel, Thanks for taking the time to make this video. We've had the exact same bike, an '18 Tour DCT Airbag now for about 7 months now and love it to death. We purchased it with a mere 5,300 miles on it and it pretty much is flawless in all respects. The DCT to me, is just pure pleasure. I don't need to shift to feel like I'm controlling a motorcycle. My left hand and foot are totally relaxed and so am I on this bike. I would like to ask you a question though. I am forever on a quest to find the best scenario for communication WITHOUT WIND NOISE in our comm system. May I ask, since you're narration is for the most part, totally wind-noise-free, what head set brand and model are you using? Have you edited your video to lessen the wind noise or, is what we're hearing while you're riding, the way it was recorded? I thank you again for this. Scott
Welcome to the channel. Thanks for the comments. I wear a Shoei RF-1200 full face helmet. I am using a DJI Osmos Action 4 camera with a Lavalier mic plugged directly in to the camera. @@SoulFuel001 Hey John, Thanks for getting back to me on this. Very much appreciated. I did this morning and I will just have to try one and see for myself! Unfortunately thats the only downside to switching over, Japanese bikes won't let you test ride over a block or two, BMW will throw you the keys and tell you to stay gone for and hour or you really won't know what it's like 😀@@SoulFuel001
So was I till I rode one. Even after i bought a 2022 I went back to an indian Chieftain. Just last week I bought my second DCT Goldwing Tour because it takes nothing away from riding the bike but adds so much to it.
I just moved to Mobile from Seattle about 1 year ago. Worked in Daphne for the last year, now im back on this side of the Bay. Still dreaming about buying a K1600gt, Gold Wing, or a Challenger. As soon as i do, im gonna have to ride over through Fairhope and then out further south. I've been to OB and Gulf Shores, just not along the bay at all on the east side. Looks like a beautiful ride.
Yes, we like it on the Eastern Shore. I'm very familiar with the BMW's as well. All 3 of those bikes have their pros/cons. You can test ride the BMW and Indian at Adventure Motorsports but there are no test rides on any Hondas in our area. You can come out and take a look at mine. I'm always ready to talk motorcycles! Beautiful Wing. Gold Strike LED’s on back. Trunk light, Rear fender filler lights and license plate light. Looks like a tinted F4 windscreen. Nice bike. You are right. The DCT is a game changer. I have a 22 DCT Airbag in ultra blue. Congrats to you. So much more you can do. You might seriously consider a belly pan and Gold Strike highway pegs. Wing Stuff for most things.
