    Thank you so much, Bob, and Brad! I've tried to use pillows to support my sitting in bed for reading, and such, but this information will definitely help, as all of your videos do, thank you. I would like to know how to support myself sitting in bed, and underlining words, and writing notes, like I do in my bible.

    I have been trying all of your sciatica stretches for weeks without much relief (I know, see a doctor). Then the other day I watched one of your videos about never getting rid of hip pain if you do this, and I was sitting wrong all the time. This video also shows all the things I was doing wrong. I had no idea that sitting with my knees up could be a problem. I've reached the age when I need to spend half the day stretching to get out of bed and the other half stretching and exercising to get back in bed!

    Got 2 questions guys:
    1.) When would you and when would you NOT recommend a hot bath for back and/or neck pain? Are hot baths always good?
    2.) Apart from injuries, when should you use ice instead of heat and how do you know when to do that?

    • @BobandBrad
      @BobandBrad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Heat is good so hot baths are fine for neck and back pain. Here is a video for the ice vs heat question: th-cam.com/video/x6beq7kGZIw/w-d-xo.html or th-cam.com/video/u6aE6CqUO8A/w-d-xo.html

    I love your expertise guys. I hope you like a challenge. I have spinal injuries, anterior avulsion fracture C6 and I've worn away significant oesteophytes between T6 and T9. I would like to type and read more for work and a bonus would be for pleasure. I lie down alot to self realign joins that connect to those areas. So mostly the vertebra column, shoulders girdle and ribs. Thanks to one of your vlogs I have been able to release a lot of tension in and around both sacral illiac joints. I can get pain free and relaxed laid down with loads of pillows but then I've only been able to watch phone TV when I get the phone strategically placed . This has to work on both sides so I can continue to realign regularly due to the return of pain and unbeatable muscle tension. Please can you help and advice?
    Kind Regards

    I hav a question here. hi i hav a herniated lumbar disc and scoliokyphosis(20°) and my back is really painful when i just normally sit or standing. i sit in a chair as i heard this chair maintains my back curve naturally. bur i feel more pain. so i usually sit on a bed like this video. i wanna know whether this posture make my back even worse for scoliojyphosis. which position is better? sitting on a chair (with pain) or sitting on a bed(without pain) for a long time?
    by the way i dont put smaller pillow on my lowet back. this can ruin my spine curve isnt it?maybe i should buy the black pillow that you guys showed the other day.

    HI, BOB AND BRAD! I have a question for you. I use to bounce a lot of my left leg when I sit at the desk. You know...keeping the front of the food down and bouncing the heel up and down in a repetitive fast motion for hours and hours....Now I have a diffuse strange calf pain that is not related to effort and also some small fasciculations. I also have chronic radiculopathy on that leg because of lumbar shrinking discs. In the last months, I also see that my left calf start to look smaller. Is that related to my habit of bouncing my leg? Can you make a video about bad habits when working long hours at a desk? Thank you!

    THAT IDEA IS OK IN THE FINAL RESULT BUT WOULD THAT WEDGE PILLOW AND PILLOWS STAY LIKE THAT IF YOU WENT TO SLEEP LIKE IT? IM AN ELDERLY PERSON AND I WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOMETHING MORE COMFY THAN MY RECLINER CHAIR I SLEEP IN. I LIKE TO TURN TO MY LEFT SIDE MOST OF THE TIME WHILE ON THE INTERNET AND TO MY RIGHT SIDE TO EAT DINNER AND I FACE THE FRONT TO WATCH THE TV OR MOVIE. BUT IM THINKING NOW MAYBE A BED WOULD BE BETTER. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THAT EVEN IF ITS A SIT UP BED IS IT HAS NO ARMS. IF ONLY SIT UP BEDS WERE MADE WITH ARMS LIKE A RECLINER CHAIR.
