literally every problem i've had with my body , theese 2 guys have made a video about it. Its almost ironic in some way. Thank you bob and brad for helping me with my injuries and keeping me healthy. Every single symptom of every single problem, from fot pain to posture. Truly appreciate what you guys are doing, its almost a crime against humanity to have this information for free on the internet. But i cant complain.
And it doesn’t take an arm and a leg’s cost. Even their product sales are reasonable. I wonder how many hurting people with no health insurance could use their advice. I check in and if the video isn’t for me, I know someone that can benefit…sometimes under the same roof!
I'm 75 yrs old and these 2 guys have helped me so much. I abused my body when I was younger driving speed boats and motorcycles and had four surgeries in the last 5 years. Bob and Brad gave me life!
I'm 71 and my back has really gone downhill due to so much sitting during Covid. My core is very weak, I always need lumbar support and I've noticed the rounding of my shoulders. It actually hurts to stand up straight. Physical therapy is *work* and doesn't always give immediate results, so I end up quitting. I really need to make a commitment of a full year on an exercise regimen.
Tip: if you have no fancy equipment ( and you are tall enough), you can hang from a door frame by your finger tips. You can't fall because your feet are already on the floor. Bend your knees and let your fingers take your weight for a few seconds at a time. The relief ftom this stretch is remarkable!
Love these guys. At 61 years old it's wonderful to find older physical therapists giving great advice for us of a certain age! Thank you from Annett in Australia.
Thanks to Bob and Brad I bought Dr Kirsch’s book to help my shoulder inflammation. Excellent book that was crucial in my recovery! Well explained and it makes total sense. I emailed Dr Kirsch about a few questions I had along with my injury background and he gave me additional advice! He’s awesome! The hanging treatment REALLY works! If you have shoulder pain get his book. Thanks again you guys!
Thank you so much for talking about these ways of taking years off our bodies. I've been doing these, except for the hanging, and am really getting good results. Working with an old shoulder injury, etc. This is the basic part of getting in shape, along with other exercises you've been teaching us. I like the W exercise with the added pinching of the muscles in the upper back, and pushing the shoulder blades down. My rounded shoulders, and fat pad are disappearing. Pulling the head back into line is magic. It starts the whole process of realigning the spine. Feels great. Thank you so much. Now to find a place to hang.
Bob, thank you for sharing your medical condition. I was concerned that you may have had a stroke. So thankful you are ok, except for the mouth surgery. Keep talking and everything will work out. Love you and Brad! And always appreciate your great videos!
Great video👍💪💪❤. This should be played as a new video, also. Bob❤&Brad❤️ ,your demonstrations, explanations, and working together really get people motivated🎉🎉 Ty, Bob& Brad.
Zowie!!! I love that wall exercise starting at 9:00. So easy to do, but I also feel my back muscles getting tired after a few reps on each side that I have to rest a minute until I can go again - I’m so used to sitting at a computer most days. I’m definitely going to keep this one up!👍
Bob & Brad: Seriously, you two have been a life saver, literally. My doc just said to take NSAIDs. Between you two and my viniyoga DVD, I've gotten my life back in one month and am getting better every day. Bless you. Being shut up for two years by the pandemic really did a number on me, but I have declared war. I hope to be able to belly dance again... soon.
Does sleeping with a pillow set you up for bad posture/ back pain? In the operating room, patients have a head pillow fur intubation and a pillow under the knees to prevent back pain while they are anesthetized. As an anesthesiologist, I will remove the head pillow to relieve airway obstructing and patients often breathe better under sedation cases. It took a while but since I no longer sleep with a head pillow along with other lifestyle changes, my incidence of back pain in less.
Howd you guys know I needed this 😭 I had fixed my posture thanks to u guys but then I sleep so horribly it starts to bend again. I tried sleeping differently but I just cant fall asleep. Is this because my spine needs a complete readjustment?
Thank you fellas. I'll take a look through the videos, but any additional tips to apply when sitting? I just found I have really good posture while standing but it is probably the worst cases of bad posture out there while at my chair. The W's should help a ton though, I'll try to keep that up
I have been doing the W stretch a lot and it has really helped my posture. I wanted to try using a foam roller but I can't afford to buy one so I improvised. I folded and rolled up a cotton and acrylic blanket around a length of foam pipe insulation. I cut wide Velcro straps to keep it rolled up. It is about 90cm long and 14cm in diameter so pretty close to the size of commercial rollers. I lay on it this afternoon. At first I couldn't get my right elbow on the floor when my arms were in a W. After a few minutes both elbows were touching and I could slide my arms further up. I don't know how the density compares with a foam roller but it felt fine. I just used stuff I had so no cost. 😀
I was having trouble getting the towel roll, I also needed my head supported. Went to store and got 5 pool noodles for $5. Cut one into quarters to fill the little space when the four when held together. Put a wrap on about 5 spots with masking tape and I have a wonderful support. Nice and long, and my head is supported. I have been using this for only a few days along with the other exercise and I really notice that it is easier for me to stand straighter.
I love this video, it is very informative! I can easily do all the exercises and think I have good posture. I do those chin moves all through the day now and I can still bend my head all the way back. I don't have a neck hump or anything like that. I am 68 years old and have a problem with my right arm...but that is another story...I looked at a few recent pictures of myself and it appears that I am leaning to the right. I'm straight in the back and neck, but in every picture, I am leaning to the right. I started watching myself and I am starting to lean to the right when I am sitting, too. I had a total knee replacement on my left knee last November and it is doing fine, due a lot to your videos, thank you! I am going to have a total knee replacement on my right knee this summer. Could that have anything to do with this leaning and how can I fix it?
I just got my cast taken off of my thumb and it won’t bend like it would before. It feels locked at a certain point and like hitting a wall, i need my thumb as a baseball player any helps please im depressed right now.
Bob and Brad, Hello. Can forward head posture and the round shoulders messed up thoracic back muscles and spine cause acid refulx? Can all these muscles be so tight that it screws up your diaphragm and stomach? I feel like the worse my back and neck tight the worse acid reflux and lpr is. Please comment to give me some of your insight. Thank you
Hey, love you guys for years, but, ironically, the shoulder impingement that I have been dealing now for about three months with my right shoulder, I am pretty sure, was caused when I first tried dead-hangs (per an exercise video by someone else). Now you guys are also suggesting dead-hangs in a few of your videos. Perhaps 🤔 I should have tried the dead hangs gradually not just go right into it with feet off the floor. What do you think?
My probkem, is while I agree with most movements especially to reduce low back pain and stress, slot of the positions shown ... Right now .... I can't get into. Just recently hurt my back and spasms were very painful. Standing was impossible. The movements shown would hurt me more. I've just started standing but I'm favoring my left side. Right now I'm in the healing stsge, and eventually ill get into the rehab.
I am 71 years old. I had a total knee replacement surgery on my right knee. I also have lumbar spinal stenosis. Since I had the surgery and have been doing the exercises I’m having a lot of lower back pain, sciatica pain, can you help. I sleep in a reclining lift chair, my pain is so bad laying down. Help!

Now you owe them $100,000 for the medical treatment
I just watch their neck pain video from a year ago. Fixed me up in minutes
My wife started going to a chiropractor and it cost us an arm and a leg.. $3,500.. no insurance.. these guys are free and totally awesome...

Had upper back pain. I discovered a couple things on my own but am very grateful for a complete description. This really helps.

Perfect, thank you both. I've been worrying about my posture lately. This really helps. 👍
I love how enjoyable and helpful all of your videos are 😁 thanks guys!

@ZZ Of course everything is going to be o.k. with him. He's a multi millionaire and he's not even a real doctor. Worry about yourself. He's good!
@@katygirl9221 hey mr., when it comes to health..money means nothing. And if you’re a selfish prick you will only worry about yourself.

I need someone to follow me around and remind me to do these. I just don't think about it when I'm going through my day - only when I see your videos!
I am going to put these on my calendar to remind me.
In my opinion you two are the best!
Thanks!
Doing forearm planks for one minute about six times a day greatly improves the posture, AND tightens up the abs. You get a two for one! \o/
Been watching you guys for a few years. Thanks for all your help!

W, Y, T. I see my go to stretches...as well as door frame stretches...love the idea of a standing bird dog

How high is that resistance band anchor? Shoulder height?
Great exercises to do at home and correct my posture. Thank you Brad and Bob.
If you have exercise bands, you can do them on a break while walking in the woods, just anchor around a tree.
