      @@alanx856(im using a different account sorry!). Antalya is very nice. Most people are extremely friendly and we had some very meaningful conversations with a lot of the salespeople. The local food is delicious, especially some of the breakfast dishes! The beach that we stayed near was very beautiful but instead of sand, there were small rocks that were a bit painful to step on😪. We went to one of the quad safari places and had a great time but it was a fair amount shorter than advertised:(. Most foods and supermarket items are super affordable and the hotel we stayed at( GoldCity) had great rooms, lots of pools and friendly staff. Great trip overall!

      You are rigth! Turkey is so beautiful and indeed it relys on toruism, but unfortunately the inflation is increasing prices. By the way we are Lebanese living in Turkey.😊

      Hi, usually markets and bazaars have the best prices. It's better to compare when you arrive. Enjoy your trip!

    Hi Bilal, you mention 10% tips for restaurants is reasonable. Is this also the case for a massage/Turkish bath in old town? Also, what's a reasonable sum to give to house keeping staff in a hotel in old town please? Do we give the tip on a daily basis? It is for a single occupant only. And to the concierge/information guy at the hotel? Thank you! Love your videos!

    • @tiptopturkey
      @tiptopturkey  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, glad you like our videos! For the housekeeping, I personally would give 30 daily or 50/ 60 Turkish Lira every 2 days. As for the concierge helping with the bags, I would say 30 to 50 Turkish Lira. For the front office, I might tip up to TL 200 if they are good and welcoming. For the massage, I don't know. At the end it is not a norm. I shared my personal opinion and it is your call. You might opt for more or less.😊

      We have mentioned prices and packages, but we are not sure if they have already changed because the Turkish Lira is depreciating on a daily basis. Enjoy your trip!

    Hi I noticed at the airport the prices in duty Free were in euros. I would like to buy some tabbacco will they accept lira. I brought no euros or card with me thinking everything would be in lira. Thanks for your help

      @tiptopturkey  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, you are welcome! Yes, you can pay in Turkish Lira. If you remember the prices from the airport, try to compare them with the market prices it might be cheaper. There are a lot of tobacco shops.
