    System: Avaya Communication Manager -- 5.2
    I show you how to create bridged call appearances on digital/IP telephone sets in an S87XX PBX although this can be translated to other Avaya PBX's as well. Just refer to the Avaya Aura Communication Manager Feature Description and Implementation manual for more information. support.avaya.com, Click on Documentation and select the system and version for your PBX.

    This video and my other videos cover the basic functions of the Avaya PBX. I am a former Tier 3 Engineer that worked in Denver and I find helping others is very rewarding.     There are a number of things you have to do with data restriction, exclusions and it could conflict with other features like intercom calling etc. Take a look a the Feature and Implementation document on your version of CM and look up Auto Exclusion and Data Restriction.

    No, but you can set a feature code to "remote send all calls activation/deactivation" and appropriate console permissions to a designated extension to do that.

    Hello, is it possible to transfer a call to a number which is "abridge-appr" on button 5 of the same 6408D+ where the call is coming in? In other words my main line (digital) comes in on buttons 1, 2, & 3 and then on the 5th button I have a separate analog line. I'm not able to transfer my main line to the analog line. If I transfer from another extension on another 6408D+ to my analog line the transfer works just fine. Thank you.

    Try changing the station form item Auto Select Idle Appearance to Y.

    Hi whenever I add a feature like " dial " in place of the "appearance" button an error message saying "Feature Buttons Invalid" keeps on showing. Noting that the buttons perform the dial action normally when used, but it is just that error message stuck on the screen.

    On my phone 2410 digital phone. I have a bridge line on A and B and my extension is on C and D when I pick up the handset I get a dial tone on extension A the bridge line and it does not have an outbound to the world. How can I make the call start off on extension C when I pick up the hand set rather than pushing the C line to call. I used to do it on my previous job 10-12 years ago but can't seem to remember what was the procedure.

    Hi, I got a question on Bridge Apperances on a 9408 phone. When I get a call on the primary line name and number displays fine, when I get a call on a bridge apperance I only get name display but no number. How can i get name and number to display on bridge apperances ?

    I have a extension setup with EC500 and when someone calls the bridge appearance it will follow my ec500. how can I prevent this.

    Is there a way to bridge analog lines or to connect 2 lines so that when a call comes both lines will ring? Thanks

    I ahve an Avaya s8700 Com mgr 3.1 = I have a bridge- appr on an executive assistants phone & she is stating she cannot transfer a call she picked up from that ? I have setup the same senario on my exten & test station and the transfer button is not available on a bridged call? What do I need to setup to be able to transfer the call after picking it up from a bridge appr?

      enable per button ring control or hit transfer select IDLE LINE, dial extension the hit transfer a 2nd time
