I mean joker got “nerfed” right, it wasn’t that bad really. It’s like the palu nerf, it’s not effecting your standings in the tier list much if at all. Joker is still a very easy top 3.
@Sean Solo what you say, pelu is more like a change of the time of moves, the Nerfs of joker decreases the resistance and time of arsene, and decreases the range and hitbox of the guns, nobody can play so good like mkleo with joker that's all
Derick Espinosa zackray does great with joker. And the nerfs for both of those characters didn’t affect their stance in the meta at all, they’re still top 5 characters

As with many things, Leo is significant better at catching items than most of the top players. It happened throughout this set and it happened throughout the later set with tea as well. Barely anything gets past him

Mr. Blue They were kinda significant due to disadvantage being harder for Leo to get out of and Arsene meter gets out quicker. Tell me what you want but in my honest opinion, Joker is now Top 3, whereas either Peach or Pikachu being top 2. Could go either way tbh
Joker players reduced the usage of downward guns now since it is pretty bad for getting back from disadvantage

In hindsight, it's kind of amazing how poorly the end of Samsora's competitive smash career kinda went for him. His last 2 majors that he went to, at Let's Make Big Moves he lost is perfect set count vs. Tea in winners, having ended it with a 3-1 count. Then he further deepened his set count vs. Maister, which has his final set count forever at 0-5, out at 9th. Frostbite 2020, he gets upset by Toast, a rising star, and very convincingly. His last set in any supermajor was against the person he seems to have been friends with for a long time, Nairo. We know now that Samsora pulled a betrayal of sorts, so really this was the only way this could of ended. He did win CEO dreamland, but I think we could say it was very hallow. It was right before COVID hit, and no one was there that could really pose a threat (maybe other than Marss). His career ended with a shallow finish and large losses, and honestly...
I think he deserved it.

Samsora is good but i can't stand his attitude in tournaments or his YT channel, he always gets super mad and pouty baby sometimes but it seems like everyone else generally have a good time and not throw a fit if they loose.
seriously, another reason why leo is one of my favorite players. humble when he wins, sportsmanlike when he loses.

The problem is Joker has her beat in mobility easily, but I do see phantom slash being an annoyance to deal with.
@@Lonewolfprime. Zelda can gimp Joker off stage easily with neural B if he doesn't have aresene. If joker tries to down B phantom slash, just grab them. Ya Zelda does get out speed by Joker, but if Zelda is played at a high level you need to predict your opponents since most of the cast is faster.
@@thomasalexander299 no that doesnt work because you can dodge the phantom edge guard easily and you cant gimp him with neutral b because its a tether grab and he mostly spaces out with the gun and zeldas too slow too use any moves onstage besides projectiles so zeldas a sitting duck on offensive and cant play defensive because thats what sam always does with jokers high damge combos and good speed and flexibility around the map

Ace Joker’s balanced when Arsen is gone, but for half the game he is the best character in the game, with crazy kill options and crazy combos. Arsen is just a jimick, go play a real fighting game

ILT SIB that’s not why he’s broken. joker has no lag and is safe on basically everything. His hit boxes with Arsene are massive, his Arsene moves come out too fast, & he gets Arsene from basically everything
Nothing makes me so happy that seeing Samsora being destroyed, he does not deserves to be considered top 2 in the world, he is carried by Peach, without peach , he is just nothing.

Peach has arguably the highest skill gap in the game and Samsora has been a dedicated Peach main since Brawl and has done very well in Smash 4 (most notably second at Smash con 2018).
