Yes indeed. We all miss you George. You were, and continue to be, such a wonderful part of our lives. We the guitarists, musicians and listeners of your incredible gift that you shared with us. My generation lived through the most dynamic musical era ever. We are so fortunate to have been here on God's earth at the right time to be blessed with the music in you, God's gift of music that HE graced you with and you shared with us. And no one comes to The Father except through HIM. Just like you, I as a young man followed the Eastern religions and philosophies on that long road that leads us to nowhere. I truly believe that you did discover that Truth of Truths before you left this world. You being a deep thinker and seeker of The Truth...how could you have not seen. Yes, I do believe that you did. That above all else is my hope for you, and all who truly seek the Truth. We will see you in Heaven my friend. And, BTW, say hello to my son, Jade, who went to be with Our Lord on April 6th, 2016. He is also a guitarist like you and I. Play and sing your praises to Our Lord along with that Heavenly choir. I'm sure the music is sweeter with you and my son playing and giving thanks. God Bless you.

Iconic duo, George was an essential part of the Beatles and his work with Clapton was beautiful. While my guitar gently weeps is an experience all in itself
I’d just like to say, I saw George driving his white Mercedes sports car in London & said hi, I saw him play live with the Beatles in 1964, Eric played at a private concert at my son’s school, both legends, how lucky was I.
Hey friend, I hope that you are okay buddy... I truly do love and support you. I hope you know that you are never without friendship or companionship:) I love you friend... keep being you. Rock on ❤you are beautiful, and worth all of life.
@@urbaniteurbanizer1612 Hello UU, I’m not sure if I can disclose the name of the school without authorisation (data protection act) however what I will say it Eric’s daughter was in the same year as my son. She asked her Dad to come and play. He played an acoustic concert on his own, in 2003, & told us a little about his life and relationship with George Harrison. I have a photograph, if you ever meet him, or his daughter they will confirm. Take care.
It's very evident that a core group of people had incredible affection for George. Not all musicians but it seemed like the people who knew him felt his soul and had great love for him. The concert for George is not just a tribute concert its a celebration of all their love for George
If you are into astrology, his birthday was 25th February so he was a Pisces. The people who were born under that sign are very loving caring, gentle and enormously creative star people and always happy to help out when they can. Very spiritual people.
I wish that George and Eric had recorded a studio album together as a duo. Well, at least we have many songs featuring the two of them in almost forty years of friendship to make a nice compilation.
It’s so sweet to hear them talk about each other. You know they are genuine friends. I loved George the first time I saw him and now I know it’s because he was a lovely human being and it must have come across.
Funny but as I grew up I realise lots Inc, why the Cool girls loved George, pop heads swooned over Paul, a few hippie & intellect types cried for John, but, the deep Cool chicks Followed George ✌️😉😏
What a wonderful tribute about two dear friends who seemed to truly appreciate each other and cherish their friendship above human frailty. They’re both icons but just dear people as well.

George Harrison's two greatest collaborations, George and the Beatles, and George and Eric Clapton. George and Eric complemented eachother perfectly. Their respective virtuosity was, and will always remain, a match made in musical nirvana. I remain humble in their respective brilliance. Two guitarists who still shape how I view the guitar. George, forever loved. When Eric was asked about being a Beatle, his laughter was wonderful. Clapton is a legend in his own right. Be well, mr. Clapton.
What a lovely tribute. Ringo's last statement was a bit cut off. When George offered to come with Ringo he was talking about Ringo going to visit his daughter who was undergoing life saving surgery. George meant it even though he was days away from passing himself. He was a great friend.
I have been fortunate to have a friendship like that (minus the wife sharing) for nearly 40 years. Our friendship developed out of work when I was an intern/reporter at a TV station and he was a cameraman. Both of us were green as could be. Over the years we worked together in different capacities, making all manner of medical videos and documentaries. Our ability to use our divergent skills to create work seen by a lot of people transcended into our friendship. To this day I can't believe how lucky I am to have that friendship.

That ‘Barbra Walters’ quote by Ringo about George shows that however long he lives in the States for he’ll still always be from Liverpool.

Wasnt it a reference to the Barbra Walters interview he did about John lennon? Not long after John was killed. In which he cried too?
He was referencing how Barbra Walters often makes people cry during her interviews. What does that have to do with him being from Liverpool??
