You have no choice but to follow your oppoents lead once he gets a hold on you. If you go the other direction, you will most likely hurt yourself pretty badly. That's why these guys are flying around all over the place (it is, of course, a little bit exaggerated).
friend, arnis comes from silat which has legit grappling techniques, they may look similar but they are not the same as the ones seagal demonstrates here which is why seagal is a clown and you are not
