This is all the more apparent if one watches the whole set of interviews this excerpt comes from (included as an extra on the Season 2 box set DVD) as it follows a rather businesslike sequence of similar length interviews with Gerry Anderson, Martin Landau and Barbara Bain (who seems to be struggling to stay awake) and then along comes the colourful Catherine Schell with her lively and good natured personality, a real breath of fresh air after the somewhat lifeless exchanges that precede hers. She is just so charming and amusing, grinning like a Cheshire Cat throughout (she doesn't even have to turn into one, even though she could! 😆)
Maya was the star of the show imho. I loved Myas hairstyle she was very ladylike and kind but at the same time could change into some muscular reptilian and beat the crap out of anyone. MARVELLOUS!
