Watching Meech improve for each win was a blast. I'd love to see you wrap up the fights that had to go to decision! That Round 3 with Sandman was like something out of a movie. I've watched Punch-Out playthroughs before, but none have ever had such an epic final swing. If you do decide to play the Title Defense post-game mode, just know that some fights have a puzzle-factor to them, and that Aran Ryan won't be the only fighter who can dodge Stars... make sure you won't miss before you throw one!

As someone with 2100 wins in Exhibition Mode and near world record times on some fights, I can honestly say that *nothing* in this game gives more dopamine than that first victory on Sandman. GGs my guy, wish u best of luck with Title Defense and the secret fight.
@@GamingWithMeechNaturally. I think this game in the franchise is especially known for timing dodges and avoiding hits in general. Super Punch Out + this game have occasionally opponents that don't always block, but Wii focuses on the dodging.

Btw a quick tip, you can heal in between rounds by pressing the MINUS button ( - ) on your Wii Remote, but you can only do it once per match. Also, if you get up when the ref says 9, you will recover most of your health back. Be mindful that if you get up when he says 8, you will recover less health that you normally would. You can time it by begining to get up before the ref starts counting 6.
here are some tips for title defense. when the opponent is knocked down you can shake your wiimote and nunchuck to slowly heal. and also if you press the - (minus) button during a break in between rounds doc will pull out a chocolate bar giving a lot of restored health when the round starts. just a heads up the world circuit is ASTRONOMICLY hard. i find it to be impossible to do with motion controls so i normally play with 1 wiimote and just use the buttons. (another thing is that the buttons are WAY faster at healing)

Now that you beat the game, now would be a good time to know you can punch to heal while the enemy is knocked down, and you can press select once per fight during the round breaks to make doc eat his chocolate bar and regain half of your current life.
Just a tip, in title defense mode you can only get knocked down three times in the entire battle, not just one round (For example, if you get knocked down twice in round 1, if you get knocked down just one more time in round 2 or 3 you lose by KO)
There was actually 3 infractions in Aran Ryan's Contender opening: You already listed the horseshoes, but the other two are: A. The gloves came from home and B. They went uninspected So, how can Aran Ryan fight Little Mac if he's not wearing the right equipment and Little Mac's 17, when the minimum boxing age is 18? Not to mention they're not even in the same weight class. They should both be disqualified (Aran Ryan for cheating, and Little for being underaged and in different weight class than all his opponents). P.S. I recommend watching this to prepare for Title Defense mode: th-cam.com/video/gGxb5CEPlb0/w-d-xo.html EDIT: During intermissions, if you press the "+" button on the Wiimote, Doc Louis eats a chocolate bar, and you regain health, and if you press the "-" button on the Wiimote before getting KO'd, there's a chance Mac will get back on a leg when he falls, granting you a second chance to fight. However, these both work once per fight.

Mr sandman oh my god this one's a bastard he will start winking to quick uppercut just look at his eyes and Dodge or you can punch him in the eye when he's winking to get a star he thinks he's like Mike Tyson but he's not the real goat!
Good luck with title defense, youll need it 💀 but yeah after that theres mac last stand where u fight the title defense fighters but its random who ur fighting and if u lose 3 times, u retire, and game done, but yeah theres a secret fighter there and even if u lose to that secret fighter in last stand u can still fight him in exhibition mode so hopefully u run into da secret fighter in last stand i mean i think its a 1 in 14 chance
