6:32 As dark as it sound, but it wanderer most likely died because of suic1de. Ei made a puppet to avoid erosion just like her and that could be the case for wanderer too.
Wanderer witnessed alot of sh*t from the past and what it would be in future. While slowly realizing that living forever is a curse, we don't know how long Nahida would lived, but wanderer is most likely to outlived her because that was Ei goal when making a puppet to make a replacement in case their gods is gone. Without Nahida he would have no mental support. And he would only watching the world's and people he knows change and gone for over and over again.

It could also be possible that if Lyney is separated from his siblings for too long he’ll attempt suicide, because it is mentioned in his character story 3 that he almost killed himself twice and Lynette saved him.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love venti, but I definitely think if anyone was to die in genshin it would be him. The reason being is that mondstat is where a lot of shady things are happening and the statue says “gateway to celestia” so what if when venti dies he creates a wind current strong enough to ascend?

For Wanderer, yes he is immune to many things but eventually he will run out of battery since he is a machine. We saw that from Karkata and Faruzan’s machine friend so probably the same thing will happen.
If it doesn’t, this guy is extremely sensitive and ready to take his own battery out 😭 (can’t say the s word)

Wanderer is the only truly immortal being in Teyvat. (At least, longevity wise) He CAN be destroyed, at least, according to Dottore, but he's EXTREMELY durable and isn't affected by erosion at all, since he was created as a proof of concept of a "puppet, not affected by erosion". He wasn't a failure, but... was useless to Ei, because he wasn't just a mindless robot. And she only abandoned him, because she "didn't want to assert control over him". Well, anyway. He truly can't die from old age or erosion, due to him not needing a power source and his puppet nature.

Erosion affects the mind, so long as he has a mind and has emotions he will be affected by erosion.

@@AndrewsMobs Nope, we don't know EXACTLY what constitutes erosion. And, unlike Ei, he doesn't have a fleshy body, or, even a "spirit" that could be corrupted. He's a fully mechanical being, doesn't matter how human he is in terms of his emotions.
Also, the only definite thing we know about erosion is that it affects memories. Scara remembers everything perfectly.

You just contradicted yourself.
Anyhow erosion is basically just memory loss which eventually leads to madness.
And Scara is pretty "young", he is 500 years old and even millennia old beings like Ganyu and Xiao haven't experienced erosion yet, Venti the second oldest archon hasn't experienced erosion yet.
It seems you need to be over 3000 years old to experience erosion.
It could be that since Scara isn't an organic being he might not be affected by erosion but we would have to know the exact nature of erosion to say for sure.
For now I would say he would face erosion eventually since he isn't a mindless machine.
Erosion also seems to be a curse from Celestia based on Zhongli's lines, so if that is the case then Scara is no exception.

I said how we don't know what erosion is, because the definition of the concept itself is pure speculation. But, we do know small details from the archons' stories.

And ONCE AGAIN, SCARA WAS CREATED TO BE FREE FROM EROSION, so even if it makes no sense to you that he wouldn't eventually lose his memories and succumb to it, there's no reason to suspect he's affected by it, BECAUSE HE WAS CREATED TO NOT BE AFFECTED BY IT AAAAAA.
